Get a couple large sheets of osb boards to put down. Run the whacker over the boards and move them once satisfied with that area

Damn it, my 199 one just turned up today!

I would ring up and ask for the difference refunded if not you want a returns slip arranging. It can sometimes work. I did it with a TV.

Can anyone please tell me how to fit the rubber pad properly? I've got the front secured with the 3 bolts using the bracket but there's nothing to secure the back of it with??

You have got it right. It just secures to the front. Obviously you just let it go forwards and it will work perfectly

At this price it's excellent. Nice weight to it also. The cheaper Chinese tend to be too light and don't compact enough depth.
Sell it when your finished in the summer and I'd be surprised if you don't get your money back. (edited)

Ordered one for the flat. That'll teach the guy downstairs for playing Christmas songs since November.

Good for softening the turkey before carving.

This was value for money when they were selling it for £300 so go for it if you are thinking about it.....

Thanks OP - been putting off working on our garden and this is one less obstacle

This is amazing value for a brilliant bit of kit. I paid £249 3 years ago and that was reasonable then. If you need one this is a great machine

I paid £300 2.5 years ago - it's still going strong. Use it way more than I thought I would, done extension, patio, drive, garden soil etc.

Starts first time too, no issues!

Cracking price if you have a big garden and intend to do some work patios extensions it’s silly not to buy one. Would pay clpse
to this to hire one for 2 weekends

I had one a few years back paid £259 used it to landscape the garden in my spare time. Then sold it for £200. You could easily use and still sell on a year later or so with remainder of warrantly for £159 if not more... great price.

I paid 300 in June so I'm not pleased it's this cheap now.

If you have used it since u got it... then can't really be upset with yourself imo, if you bought it and havnt used it yet.. then thats different though

Wish I had one of these 6 months ago. Don't need one now but tempted at this price, would probably stay in the box for a year or 2!
    DanMe's avatar
Do it. You won't get cheaper
