    This stuff is crap once it gets wet! Goes like toilet paper! Only trouble is the king of kitchen roll which is blitz has gone so Damn expensive!

    It's just days till they start manufacturing 25 sheets per roll and sell them for the same price as they sold 150 then 100 then 75 sheets for. Like Lucozade shrunk their bottles, like there are less crisps in a package. Disgusting practice. I boycott every single company that do this - yes I'm aware that I won't have anything to eat very shortly. (edited)

    No one has mentioned the elephant in the room I see. Sugar tax. The whole populace has to pay more for sugary snacks and drinks because a minority of people have no self control. Of course inflation and the resulting shrinkflation are also factors, but the sugar tax is a big one. I would also like to point out that since the sugar tax came into place, obesity has not declined, in fact it has very slightly increased, on the same trajectory as it was before. As per usual, government has found another way to milk revenue from the UK public under the guise of public health. Its also the government who allow these corporations to drastically reduce product sizes and increase prices without clear advertising. Of course the government are still touting it as a success because manufacturers are using more sugar alternatives and trying to popularise low calorie drinks to get around the increased retail cost of high sugar content foods. The figures they put out and the metrics they use are convoluted and intentionally misleading. It has done nothing to curb obesity

    I know it’s been said already but I bought this from Amazon in 2021 for half the price - just can’t support the price doubling. Get a grip manufacturers - costs haven’t gone up THAT much. Someone’s making a tidy cut out of people’s misery and at some point we’ve got to decide it won’t fly anymore. Cold from me. (edited)

    It's completely insane how much decent kitchen rolls have increased in price. I reckon it's more than doubled in some cases. I'm not buying it - figuratively or literally!

    Never tried this stuff but Blitz is awful, rips way too easy and that’s when it’s dry, once wet it is even worse lol
    I will go back to Bounty as soon as I use up the last roll

    Just use one of the many types of kitchen cloths/sponges out there...honestly, most of the time you'll be using a whole sheet of this to mop up a small coffee spill, ludicrous...the cloths are more sustainable and will save you a small fortune over a year
