    Guys in new fittings you don’t need ptfe tape and if you do use it then apply it round the olive not the thread. Personally jointing compound is better on bigger fittings (22mm-28mm)

    think the P stands for plenty!
    everyone wacks far too much on....think its best to wrap it on anti clockwise too if i remember rightly

    do pros still use this though?.....thought it was all 'liquid' ptfe these days?

    only trouble with the tape is trying to wrap it around things where you have'nt a lot of room

    good price though...and least you dont have to buy a load in a pack (edited)

    Love seeing this wrapped around every compression fitting I come across in DIY nightmares. Great stuff but not in the way they use it

    Was in there yesterday they do a pack for around 2 quid , well handy just sealed two lock valves on the house
