The Everything Button
Chromebooks have the Everything Button. It’s a button that helps you find what you need, fast. Like files. And apps. And answers online. Press it, and get what you need – all from one place.
Long battery life
Work and play with up to 12 hours on a single charge.* With Chromebook, you don’t even need to remember your charger.
*Battery life may vary based on device, usage and other conditions.
Offline access
No Wi-Fi, no problem. Recent documents, spreadsheets, presentations and emails are all available with offline access.*
*Pre-download content and enable offline access for documents, presentations and emails to view offline later.
Microsoft Office-compatible
Chromebooks work with Microsoft® Office. Whether it’s Word, Excel® or PowerPoint®, you can easily find the apps on the web, so you can use the productivity software that you need.

At just 1.4 kg, you'll barely know this Chromebook is in your backpack. So you can get productive anywhere you want – library, park, café. In fact, that might be why the keyboard's spill-resistant. With ChromeOS you get a smooth and streamlined experience and access to your favourite apps on the Google Play store - everything from Office to Netflix. And since the battery lasts for up to 10 hours, you've got enough juice for a day of work and a movie on the train home too.

Good to know

  • The Intel® Celeron® N4020 is just right for everyday browsing, emailing and social media
  • With a 14" Full HD screen, you'll have plenty of space for work and movies - and they'll look sharp too
  • There are two USB-C and two standard USB ports – hook up a monitor, charge your phone and still have room for dongles
  • ChromeOS is stable and efficient so 4 GB of RAM should be plenty for all your everyday needs
  • One big win for Chromebooks is they are less likely to get viruses - plus, they come with Google's H1 Security Chip

  • ChromeOS
  • Intel® Celeron® N4020 Processor
  • RAM: 4 GB / Storage: 128 GB eMMC
  • Full HD screen
  • Battery life: Up to 10 hours

Nice deal for brand new, thanks !

As points out, this is a TN screen, so be aware viewing angles won't be the best. Non-touch also. Full spec at Lenovo: psref.lenovo.com/Sea…5UK

AUE (when it'll receive ChromeOS updates to) will be June 2027 (as has the N4020 processor).

Is this any good? Or as the price suggests is it worth paying double for what I can see are similarly specced laptops?

Looking to utilise a laptop for browsing and general use , so nothing too taxing.

This should be good for your use and is a decent price. Although full HD, it's not an IPS screen. I can't see this exact model listed on Google's Auto Update Expiration list, but should be good for at least 4 years of updates, possibly 7.

Hit the wrong button by accident. This is a decent deal for a new Chromebook and ideal for many - ticks the key boxes (4GB is the minimum you want today for these and full HD display). Dual core Celeron ok for light use but power users might want to look for quad cores or Pentium Gold/i3 and above.

Agreed plewis. I've got the Pentium Gold 7505 and it's octane score of 48k is much better than my 8th gen i5.

    Is this touch screen?

Thanks MrSwitch, just ordered for £141 using some work perks. I've been impressed with the little ones Chromebook we got him for Christmas, I've just snapped this up for myself for some light use when needed. Great deal as always. Thanks again.

    Hi folks.
Is this any good for video chatting :/
    Masteryates's avatar
Should be fine bawbag, as I've video called on lesser Chromebooks. Not sure how this would handle a video call and opening up a heavy website at the same time though.

Can you play roblox on this

Yeah it should work, but not the native PC client, it would have to be the Google Play store version, but it does work apparently.

Do you need to buy anti virus protection for these?

    No.

I had one. The internet kept dropping out then then some of the keys stopped working. Couldn’t replace it as it only had 3 months warranty. Lasted about 4 months. Waste of money.
    marco806's avatar
which retailer was offering only 3 months warranty....thats bizarre imo..
  13. uwutm8y's avatar
is there a version with a touch screen?
  14. Ono2's avatar
What is the warranty on this please? I have checked and can't find it. Must have missed it
