sorted byI wouldn't even recommend cheap taps like this, but at least they tend to work, just that they tend to have too high of a flow so the water bounces out of the sink. (edited)

Any tips on getting my old waste out of my basin? It has all corroded already. Hope this one lasts longer? (edited)
One of the flexi’s on ours burst, causing a huge leek, water everywhere. Luckily we were at home and at a reasonable time when it happened. After inspection, the other flexi was on it last legs too, a lot of rust. The waste had also snapped in connection to the u-bend. Very poor quality in my opinion. I would guess this had been fitted around 3 years ago so not very old.
It was already fitted when we bought the house so can’t confirm if it’s the same set or not but from the images it’s pretty much identical. My advice would be to spend a little more for quality
