    Breath of Fire 3 was my very first intro to RPG games. I think it must have contained every trope imaginable but I loved every moment, and a thoughtful ending was the reward for sticking with it.

    Wow Breath of fire, i wish they would released this on ps/xbox stores, but they never do havent played BF3 in years and Legend of dragoon!!! (edited)

    Legend of Dragoon was released digitally on the PS3 - but it might have been US only. It might still be avaialbe if you have/create a US account (and a PS3, of course).

    This book has actually got me thinking, since I haven't thought about Breath of Fire in a long time. I have BoF III and IV on physical PS1 and BoF: Dragon Quarter on physical PS2, but I am convinved I have the first two games on something, but can't remember what. It might be my homebrewed Wii - need to look. Either way, you are definitely right. A nicely packaged 5-game digital download on modern systems would be fabulous.

    I remember ordering the original Japanese version at 25 quid and at the time didn't seem a hope in hell of getting an English release. Absolutely gorgeous artbook of the entire franchise and well well worth it if you're a BoF fan. There's an incredibly neat touch of the various Ryus on the front and the Ninas on the back cover too!
