Have a ps5, never played the original and have spare pockets? The most recent one is arguably the best one to go for.
I've not, yet. But the first is still relatively fresh in my mind, so I'm holding off until it drops in price.
Only watched half of the first episode, and its not a scene for scene copy, so hopefully different enough to still enjoy it.
So there is no fng way that they could make a TV series which is engaging. I was adamant they can't recreate this story. I was wrong very wrong. The TV series is written in a way that works best on that medium just as the game story line is written that takes full advantage of the gaming medium. The writer/s of the game and TV series are geniuses. Episode 3 of the TV series is epic, an episode that will be remembered for decades. Episode 5 which aired early because of the Super Bowl is the next best episode. I can't wait to see how they manage the story in each episode.
So for me I love the games and the TV series is literally the best adaptation of a computer game in history. It is the benchmark, the threshold for which all other adaptations will be judged. The world they have created is one I am wholly engaged with, I almost want to live their story as brutal as it is. I'm certain they will make a Last of Us 3 they have struck Gold and HBO are fully invested in this world. They won't want to get off the rollercoaster. Do we need a Last of Us 3? I was thinking no because the way that story ended of course we want more, we want the questions answered, but it is also left to our imagination. So if anybody can pull it off it is Naughty Dog. Can't wait for TLOU 3.
