    There is the tiniest small scratch on the back of the switch in a place you'd never see and it affects nothing. I mentioned it to customer services that I wouldn't expect something as new to be scratched and they gave me £10 back. Not much but brings the cost to £143.

    Open via the Amazon site rather than the app if you can. Then click on the used list and look out for the green 30% off icon. Just make sure you read the description in the drop-down.

    They keep coming into stock as quickly as they go out, so worth refreshing.

    Not sure about the eBay comparison - warehouse deals are easy to return, easy to complain about on chat if not as described and still benefit from a warranty as far as I understand.

    Used - Very Good

    In original packaging. Outer box with lashings of clear tape from the warehouse.

    Powers up ok. Unit and screen ok.

    Checked all the accessories, and looks like the power adapter has been swapped out, as it is still a Nintendo one, but with a weird ‘H’ mark on the back of it.

    Ive ordered the risky "acceptable" for £122. It's coming today. - I have had good experience with that in the past. EG, got a brand new MacBook Air M1 for £530 so will see what happens tonight..

    Well, an update on my "like new". I've still not powered it up but I've had a proper look at the contents. Someone has definitely opened it up and used it at some stage. It's a v2 which is good, however there are some very small scratches on the back of the red Joy con, the screen looks fine with no marks and the rear of the switch has a very feint mark. The box was in great condition. The docking station again has a very feint mark on under close inspection but the plug and hdmi are brand new and the Joy cons controller also has some feint marks. To be fare my OLED version was brand new and the Joy cons were like that, went to exchange it, and the others were exactly the same, so they must just not be made very durable. My PS5 controllers have had loads of use and still look like new.

    How are people getting money off from Amazon. I just contacted them and they said sod off, politely and offered a return for a refund only. (edited)

    Amazon basically have some sort of account allowances, depending on the activity and previous returns/refunds etc. They can give an account partial/full refunds, promotional credits but after you are given your allowance they simply offer nothing. They proactively offer resolutions if they have they option, if they don’t they just say no

    thank you, these arrived over the weekend.

    One was in acceptable condition, scratches on the screen tatty accessories that sort of thing, and will be going back. The other was brand new inside, with a slightly tatty box.

    Got an absolute dud. Freezes every 5 seconds, crashes when I try to reset it. No idea what's wrong with it.

    Mine looked pretty much new. Works perfectly, no scratches and everything was sealed. Raised up a fuss with Amazon for the fun of it and they offered about £22

    Mine looks new, box was sealed though, but so was all bags inside with cables. It is V2 and hopefully all works well. No damage to box either.

    Just check every single Tesco store in a 20 mile radius. It's an investment of £50 fuel and 2 hours of your time, but you might be able to pick up Luigi's Mansion for a tenner if you're lucky.

    They made those in 2017. V2 came out in 2019. Subtle difference and only able to tell by physically checking the version number on the console. (edited)
