    I find vivino ratings fairly accurate - the reds are around ~ 3.7 where as the one the deal posted ~ 4.0. One is even a 4.2. I’d prefer these glasses but for reds the main deal is much better imo

    They will automatically put you into a subscription plan, so make sure to ring them to cancel before they send and charge you for an extra box I've been through it twice with them

    I have ordered and have checked and there’s a note showing in my subscriptions area saying ,’This subscription will be active in 24 hours’ and has ‘heroes collection’ beneath.

    So although I was careful not to select anything which says ‘subscription’ it seems to have subscribed me somewhere!

    I’ll just wait for the wine to arrive and cancel via chat if it’s showing as active by then. (edited)

    Good deal if happy to have the pain of phoning to cancel. These are all Laithwaites wines and whilst there is nothing particularly 'special' in their selection they are mostly solid choices and at £5/bottle for the first delivery an absolute BARGAIN

    Managed to get two intro cases from laithwaites and used the amex offer, seems perfectly nice wine to me. Ended up getting 26 bottles, 8 glasses for £75. The offers are great, but fantastic if you can combine with a credit card offer, which seem to be thrown out a lot.

    How did you manage to add 2 intro cases via laithwaites? Seems like I'm only able to add one to the basket at any given time (would be amazing if it works with 2 cases) I'm guessing the amex offer is £120, but in a single transaction?

    Only reason I got the email was because I ordered and cancelled in the past, so I'll be pretty annoyed if they cancel my order!

    Not good quality wine at all. Another pack by Laithwaites / Averys / BBC good food wine club - all the same tat. These will be high alcohol head bangers. Those who know about wine wouldn't touch this stuff. If genuinely interested in learning more then head to Majestic and sample/chat to their team. Laithwaites is like the Sports Direct of wine

    A lot of these wines were originally sold by ST / Laithwaites at £7 or £8 a bottle. Basically wine sellers can charge whatever they want. Probably under £10 or so the price listed doesn't really correlate to the quality. Doesn't really matter anyway after a couple of glasses!

    I bought using 15% off with Halifax rewards and going through Topcashback hopefully getting their 2.97% cashback.


    So if both work will bring delivered bottle price down to £4.10 ish plus some glasses for free. If not I'm still happy paying the £5 per bottle

    UPDATE Topcashback tracked at £1.60, so £4.12 a bottle (edited)

    Halifax rewards definitely will go through, Topcashback hit and miss, worked once with Laithwaites, didn't another time I did it.

    The batch is terrible though... not one NZ bottle! Better to go asda and get 25% off 6 bottles. Most of this will go to waste but the glasses are decent!
