Without a view of the linked purchases, it's impossible to make a judgement on whether the declines are fair game.
I opt into many bonuses and then don't make a qualifying purchase. In that case, a decline is perfectly reasonable.

This is a complete scam. They were doing several of these offers before Xmas.

I very very carefully followed the t&c’s.

    Cashback declined. Bonus declined.

Then they have the audacity to send an email saying “sorry your Cashback has been declined, make another purchase and we’ll give you a couple of quid”

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Sorry Quidco, you’ve morphed into an outright scam since moneysupermarket bought you out.

Falling for your scammy offers has literally left me out of pocket.

The Cashback industry has turned rotten.

For the most part Quidco has honoured my bonuses.

You need to remember that there is a cashback part (paid by the retailer confirming the purchase), and a bonus part (paid by Quidco directly once the retailer has confirmed the cashback part).

If the retailer doesn't confirm the purchase, you'll never get the bonus. Some retailers are better than others unfortunately...but I wouldn't blame Quidco for this personally.

Hey Everyone! I can see a few comments in regards to cash back declining in relation to the boosts. I am really sorry for this, Regretfully cash back is never promised and we do have to get the approval and funds for the linked cash back in order for the boost to be paid. I promise we do everything to get the funds from the retailers as we want you to have a good experience with us in order for us, It does not benefit us if cash back is declined as this means we risk loosing members and we do not want this. If anyone has any declines for cash back or boosts they would like checking please drop me a email and I would be happy to check them further for you and provide advise. Thank you Ashleigh socialsupport@quidco.com

Does "retailers do not count VAT in the total spend amount" mean one needs to spend £6 for the bonus to be guaranteed?
  5. itm's avatar
I've also found Quidco very hit-and-miss, and no longer trust any transaction to go through. TCB much more reliable over the last few years (and usually better rates for the same retailers)
  6. Andy_Harrison's avatar
As some of the other comments Quidco used to be the number 1 site for cashback but now its TCB alot better.

Sorry to hear you're having this issue! If you are using the app you can see the bonuses in your account as shown below:49707812-qsGmw.jpgIf this isn't the case please do drop me a message at socialsupport@quidco.com and I will look into this further for you

Wouldn't trust them again, did everything right to get £10 from Tesco spend, not used them since.
    Misslovely's avatar
Do what I did. Just delete the account then the app! I’m very surprised this is hot deal this time. There’s 100s of us who has said the same but nothing gets done.
  9. Slimlinex's avatar
Scammers, TopCashback FTW now for me.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Check the recent TCB bonus deal threads, there's very similar comments in reverse.
The problem is people don't do it right, but won't admit it, and wag their fingers elsewhere instead.

Both sites always work for me.
  10. Mr_Troy's avatar
Cold because it unfortunately can't be trusted to get paid

Quidco are a complete waste of time and will decline your cashback. Shameful how they still have the audacity to keep ripping us off
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
    They won't though.
Maybe the retailer will because you did something wrong.
  12. polygonjames's avatar
They'll find a way to decline it, don't bother.

    Avoid Boots

    NuffinisFree's avatar
I would avoid boots too, the reason they give you for decline 'did not meet t&c's'.
When you ask which part of the t&c you failed to meet, Quidco can't tell you.

Cold as none of my previous bonus cashback have gone through.

My nowtv cashback had also been declined. Will only be using TCB from now on. (edited)

Well documented problem with NowTV, the retailer has declined the cashback.

Remember to get your passport and driving license ready when you encounter the "Account Integrity Team". Of course they will delete it. Would you trust them? Me neither.

Ruby from Transaction integrity team. She blocked both my and my spouse’s account and reactivated mine after lot of communication. And she says that’s a favour she done

Complete scammers, stopped using them a while ago, tcb only from here on.
    baldybob's avatar
I've had lots and lots of small cashback amounts paid via TCB, but recently had a one just under £70 declined.
Made a complaint direct to the merchant involved and they sorted it and paid me within 10 minutes.
Where there's schemes, there's often schemers.
    Always worth chasing up declines.
May just be a mistake. 😏

Yeah I'm deleting my Quidco account as soon as I get my last few quid from them. Opted in to a £10 deal for first click and collect from Asda before Christmas and followed the T's & C's. Asda is about 3 miles further away than our local grocery shop. Tracked and then declined a couple of months later. Nope.
    RealDealSeeker's avatar
I also did that promo, also declined.

They’ve told me it’s because Asda gave me a substitution, which changed the metadata
    Completely out of my control.

Given how foreseeable that is, that they understand it and yet not specific within the T&Cs I’ve also concluded some of these promos are nothing short of misadvertised scams.

These jokers never pay out. Not wasting my monies...

Pretty much given up with Quidco now… hardly anything tracks properly, claims take months to resolve. Shame as I’ve had over £4K cashback through them
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Mine almost always track, if they don't I know I've done something wrong.

Don't bother, my cashback was tracked last time but 1 month later they blocked my account and everything was gone.
  27. farzana.ali's avatar
Wouldn’t count on this, all previous ones still showing pending on me
  28. foggyboy89's avatar
I've had numerous issues with Quidco over the years- big purchases never track. You raise a claim and it's always the same declined reason.
  29. TECHSPEC's avatar
    Which company actually tracks quick?
    PD2K79's avatar
Boots and HMV seem to track instantly for me - I’m sure others do too but they are the ones I’ve noticed

Ebay + Quidco work well together. I normally use chrome incognito and never have any problems with tracking. (edited)

Don't mention that to Quidco if making a claim as apparently cookie-free incognito can only cause tracking problems...

49698096-02F8s.jpgTook a punt on another giftcard purchase.
Looking at almost 5 months to become payable, but my last one was showing as just over 11 months - Toby Carvery.
Tracked very quickly and giftcard almost instantly.
    I'll use this anyway, so a no-brainer.

Good luck all and thanks OP.
    supermann's avatar
Good luck, although you'd be better off with the Mitchells and Butlers Dining Out card as then you're not limited to Stonehouse Pizza.

Also I have to agree these bonuses are the pits. I've got so many still pending, for months and months and I've kinda lost track of how I got some of them. So if they do get declined, it's going to be a bit of a pain appealing.
  33. Aerobiz's avatar
Oh look, another ticket I'll have raise with Quidco.
  34. imisswoolworth's avatar
Thanks for sharing. I made a purchase with Asda Supermarket which has tracked but the bonus still shows as pending like it hasn't linked to the Asda one. Will wait and see what happens.

It can take a few days for your bonus offer to link up with the applicable purchase.

I wish Martin Lewis of MSE did a report on TCB and Quidco and any other cashback sites to see if they do pay out as they claim they do. Myself I've rarely had an issue with TCB but Quidco with it's really long payout times have been the worst, so many declined.
    1mran's avatar
MSE owned by MSM which is funded by the same business model, before the energy crisis be headed a newsletter every week telling you to switch to the top (affiliate linked) supplier. So maybe get someone else to look into it?

    Thanks in advance.

I guess you can't unfortunately. I guess Quidco attach it to oldest bonus if there is a match. My issue here is how Quidco tracks work if there are two active bonuses but if I purchase something which is not eligible in the oldest bonus. Theoretically I should attach to the other bonus when there isn't a match with the old bonus. (edited)
