This is a dry food. You can get lilly's wet food even cheaper at pets at home - buy one get one half price at the moment so cans are below £3 with this deal

They havent cancelled my order 🤞🤞🤞

Their refund system leaves a lot to be desired; cancelling one item, but then removing the free postage, and refunding only the difference is probably not legal.

Certainly not without the customer's consent.

Either deliver in full, cancel in full, or contact the customer to renegotiate the order contract.
Doing otherwise leaves them open to breach of contract & loss of bargain claims.

Same happened to me. I've asked them to cancel the entire order. If they don't and still charge me delivery, I will be seeking a refund

Well I've placed an order but I'll be amazed if it's honoured! I suspect a mis*price

They've taken 666 off my bank card for what was only a 140 order
    ScorchingHot's avatar
They took £685.55 off of my bank card! Don't waste your time complaining to VioVet, they're absolutely useless and won't do a thing. I'm going to my card issuer and reporting this as fraud, as that's exactly what it is. They've illegally stored card details and then made copious amounts of unauthorised transactions against my card. I'll also be logging this with the Police, as they deal with fraud typically. Absolutely DISGUSTING incompetent business.

The cynic in me wonders if they need to prove their value as they approach the end of the financial year so have hugely reduced stuff knowing people will order loads and there will be loads of orders thus boosting their financial balance and making them look like a better bet to get a loan from a bank.

I was confused with the cancellation emails - there were so many of them. I assumed all of the items were cancelled.

I paid by PayPal and in my account it says pre-refunded however today (Friday), ie 2(?) days after the order, the PayPal payments have come out of my bank account.
    PaulaWoolleson's avatar
They did that with me but if you look they have refunded without taking money first so you should have refunds but underneath they didn’t actually take anymoney out of your bank so infact they was giving you money they shouldn’t have I was confused then looked closely hope that makes sense
  11. sophieb1986's avatar
I still have money pending to viovet on my account. I wonder how long it'll sit there for before bouncing back to my account
    sicklysweet's avatar
Mine was taken from my account after they cancelled. Customer services useless. (edited)
  12. sicklysweet's avatar
Oh and PayPal also said Viovet set up a subscription for repeat payments so I requested that was cancelled.

You may want to check out your standing orders/direct debits to make sure they haven’t done that to you too.
    ScorchingHot's avatar
And they sign you up to various things without your consent - check your account settings I would say and amend everything where possible, and get the account deleted! Wouldn't ever use this business ever again - they clearly pay for fake reviews on places like TrustPilot too!

You want to see my bank account - I've ordered two orders today, totalling just under £250 (some for my dog, and I wanted to donate some to the local animal shelter for some of the cats and also dogs there) and this disgusting business have just charged £685.55 to my bank card!

Been on the phone to them for WELL over an hour now, spoken to someone who didn't have a clue, she's put me on hold and that's how it's still currently left.

MASSSIVELY ILLEGAL and I will absolutely be reporting this to not only my card issuer, but also to the relevant authorities - 100% unacceptable.

Also their emails regarding the cancellations are as clear as MUD - totally incompetent company. Received my order confirmations, then they decided to completely cancel down one order, however, sent 5 different emails (1 email per line?!) to cancel this down and have then also told me one line from my other order would be cancelled, but no idea about the rest of the order?

Heard of this company, never ordered before, until today, and after today, 100% never, ever again.

I'm really sorry to hear that.
My order was also cancelled but got full refund as paid by paypal. I really thought that was a good deal but it looks like we all have been scammed...

There applying £40 credit account just got an email
    Adddddd's avatar
They say they've applied it, but they haven't have they? Not yet anyway.
  32. Power2468's avatar
£40 credit in my account need to spend at least £40 and the discount will come off order
    Adddddd's avatar
Not really £40 credit if you can't spend less than it though. I'm reluctant to place an order until I get a full refund. I've had just over half refunded so far.

Can't stress to anyone enough - DO NOT ORDER WITH THIS BUSINESS. Strongly urge you all to read their online reviews before parting with ANY money, no matter how small. Loads of people are saying the same - VioVet cancel down your orders line by line, to ensure they can then re-register each of the 'uncancelled' lines as a 'new order' without your consent, resulting in countless deductions from your bank account. This seems to be typically people who've spent large sums of money it seems, and illegally storing card details which they're not authorised to do so. Payments are not encrypted, yet another MASSIVE security flaw. Placing 'orders' themselves against your credit/debit cards for varying amounts with zero consent.

This company promptly need closing down; typically when companies do such ridiculous things it's because they're in a bad place financially. Wouldn't EVER risk spending a single penny with this incompetent, laughable business! (edited)
  34. ScorchingHot's avatar
Also, despite this company LYING and saying ALL payments have been voided and cancelled, these payments are now moving to approved on my bank, meaning VioVet have just excelled themselves and completely broken the law further!

    Good Luck, VioVet!

PayPal indicates I was "Refunded" on March 8th (4 separate transactions that amount to the full sum) ...... yet the linked bank account that funded the transaction has yet to receive any credit

PayPal Assistant: "I'm sorry, I'm experiencing some issues while gathering your information. Please try again later."

I've used Viovet many times before without issue, but it looks like they've royally ballsed up these refunds.
    :edit:
Refunds arrived in my bank account today; a full week after they were issued. (edited)

Report them to the Police for fraud, I have. Also report it to your bank/building society - I did! Nearly £500 which I did NOT legally authorise, remotely, got taken from my bank account, on top of the £245 I spent on my order. They're beyond a sheer disgrace. They've got some moron called 'Jessica Murphy' who things get escalated to (apparently the Customer Service Mgr - I say apparently, she's utterly beyond useless!) and she's just lied and lied her way through the last few weeks. I've also launched a huge complaint with RCVS, which is who they're apparently governed by, as this is beyond illegal behaviour. In my case, they illegally stored my card details (I did NOT give them consent to do this!), payments are NOT encrypted (again, illegal!) and they illegally then placed another FIVE orders against my bank card. These monies weren't refunded to my bank for well over a week. They 100% need closing down. When I spoke to the inept 'Jessica Murphy' she was like 'erm yeah well this isn't something which happens often so I'm really sorry!' I was like 'doesn't happen OFTEN?! It shouldn't EVER happen?!' - I put in a Subject Access Request and the mindless idiots haven't even adhered to that correctly, so I've also reported them to the ICO for non-compliance - urge everyone to do the same - takes 2 minutes of your time and well worth it when they're operating so illegally. Don't waste your time going through their 'parent' company (Pinnacle the Police advised) as they're just as useless and ignore emails! (edited)
