All I can suggest to people thinking of taking this deal is do not use Quidco.
I know cashback isn't guaranteed but they're playing silly games now and decline most cashback claims.

    It's your choice!

Used TCB for cash back and got denied.....wasn't worth the hassle and call centres between both of them, shall just leave when contract is ip

I am an existing customer with Now and my contract ends in two weeks time. I called their customer service for a discount but no luck. How do I get this?

Just switched my basic quidco to premium and now cashback is showing £110.
    ladymarmalade's avatar
Has it tracked lower, it was showing 110 but tracked at 88 for me

For anyone interested: I have called them and the advisor stated that, although it shows £35 on the first screen, it will go on to apply the offer price of £22. It may be an idea to do it via telephone as - if the advisor that I have spoken to is anything to go by - the seem extremely helpful!
    ladymarmalade's avatar
    I agree they are helpful.

I switched my mum and dad around 18 months ago, renewal it stayed the same cost for their basic broadband and when fibre was put in the street as couple of months ago I called and they was offered similar deal to this and are really happy with it.

"super fiber 63mb" that make me laugh, that wasnt fast even 10 years ago
    Cyril_Blake's avatar
If you are living in an area that only gets that as a maximum then why would you pay more?

I am leaving vodafone and the 26th Mar is the end date of my 2 year contract with Vodafone. Is it true that I still need to give Vodafone a month notice? Please see chat. Now seems can get me connnected in 2 weeks time.49720605-evTOP.jpg
    Galaxien's avatar
Vodafone do not need any notice to leave.

Sign up with Now and pick an installation date on the 26th March or as close as possible.

There is no need to keep in contact with Vodafone. Now will inform them of the switch.

I’ve been with Now for 12 months now - moved from Sky - and so far it’s been flawless.
Only issue I had was the supplied router was a bit flakey, so followed advice on here and picked up one of the Sky vertical routers from eBay. Swapped them over and since then I’ve not had a single connection drop on WiFi.
I ordered via Quidco, and despite it taking 9 months to pay out, I did get the £90 that was offered at the time.
Contract is up now but one of my options is to go onto a rolling contract at the same price I signed up for - £20 a month - so I’m doing that. Price will no doubt increase in April, but should still be competitive enough to justify sticking with!
    IW74's avatar
Definitely the SR203 - vertical router with 4 Ethernet ports on the back.
It is indeed just a case of removing your Now router, plugging in the Sky one and waiting a few minutes for all lights to go green. I guess you could also change the SSID and WiFi password to your old Now one if you wanted, but I just reconnected my various devices to the Sky SSID on the SR203.
It’s been flawless (touch wood) - reaches the furthest points of the house that the Now one really struggled with.

Considering NOW as a possible option, as our Sky deal ends in May (currently paying £21 for 73mb, but will ultimately go up to around £35). Did a live chat a couple of weeks ago, and best they could offer was £29 and putting us on their ‘essentials’ package. Must admit I do like the reliability of Sky and do get 70mb plus. Would this be considerably worse at 63mb with two of us working from home, and streaming, downloading, etc?
    sandstone1's avatar
It's sky anyway. I didn't even change the router. Came home on activation day and broadband was working as usual. Same router as the sky one came but it's still in box. I also got all inclusive calls for this price and it rolls on each year. (edited)
  13. rugman's avatar
Been with Now for a number of years.

Every year they offer to continue on the existing £20 per month full fibre rate with included anytime calls for me.

I can't fault them. I did ditch the crappy supplied router a few years ago though. (edited)
    Micah's avatar
they trying to push me to £30 for what you have previously just rolled the discount on
  14. Manonthemon's avatar
Up untill recently I was on their £20 a month 63Mb deal. Once my 12 months contract expired they automatically switched me to a monthly rolling contract with no price increase. The customer service was also very helpful when I had a technical issue with ma router. I only switched to a different provider because I needed a speed boost, but I absolutely recommend Now for a simple, no hassle internet setup.
    brendanhickey's avatar
I was on the same deal as you and they did the same, also they include the free anytime calls that I don’t use because I don’t have a phone connected. I’m waiting for a new cheaper deal to switch but I’m very happy with now Broadband

Also got this last year for £20 with TCB (paid) and have been offered renewal at same price (it's not increasing in April). Happy with the service. Never connected the router, use an old sky router without issue (although Sky demanded their more recent router back). Carrying on with this.

Cashback tracked and confirmation email from now, 30 minutes later cancelled for no apparent reason:/

Are the cashback rates account specific? Showing as £74.50 on my topcashback account

Mine is Premium TCB - that will be the difference I guess.
  19. kaiserbill's avatar
Only showing the £94.50 on my TCB as when you get the entertainment package too.

I joined Now Broadband last year when i ditched the horrible TalkTalk, and i get this 63 meg for £20 a month, and it does what it says on the tin and has been a very stable service, so have been very happy with them.
  21. wellhellothere's avatar
    Showing £42.50 on mine.

    49713634-d097q.jpg
    loofer's avatar
i think teh amount is shown below the description. So £42.50 will refer to the one above (Fab Fibre)
  22. juan_ignacio's avatar
Is the deal still active? I have just tried to purchase and, although the price is quoted at £22, it goes on to say that the monthly charge will be £35.

    Has this happened to anyone?
    keefly's avatar
    Same here.

EDIT: Used three different browsers now & I get this weirdness in every one:

TCB not yet tracking, making me nervous as have so many failures, how long has yours taken to appear???
    wellhellothere's avatar
    Mine tracked within 12 hours
  24. Samt9797's avatar
I used this similar deal last year was actually very good value for money. Also contract has ended and they have left me on a rolling £20pm cancel anytime which is pretty nice compared to other providers. Gives me time to find a decent fibre deal. Heat
  25. loofer's avatar
TCB has now reduced cashback on this to £80 (for plus members).
It's now £90 for the slower Fab Fibre product
    shyam91's avatar
    I see that..

Already have a now account I use for cinema and sport, will I need to create a new account for Quidco cash back to track, or can I use the same account?

I got a fab NowTV deal with TopCashback, some years back, free 24/7 phone calls, free delivery and OpenReach installation, plus broadband with line rental for £18 a month. No issues whatsoever and not a single price rise in 6 years. (edited)
    xigent's avatar
Have they continued to include free 24/7 phone calls?
  29. MarcoLoves360's avatar
I been with now TV for a long time paying £20 a month with no contract and downloading at the fastest speed available 8mb/s. Never had any problems .
  30. MaxxHaze's avatar
Strangely my broadband and cinema order tracked as £90 within minutes last week but just checked now and it's increased to £100, nice one 😁 (edited)
  31. Cyril_Blake's avatar
I got £68 back on this same deal last week, only waited a month for it. Hot!
  32. czaker's avatar
Will the monthly price be affected by Aprils price increase if I sign up now?
    JoeKing5321's avatar
    Also wondering this.
  33. billybob59's avatar
These are only good deals if the cashback actually pays out. I would never choose a deal on the basis of cashback after having over £400 declined for a variety of dubious reasons. Simply speaking if you buy the product you should get the cashback but this is not always the case. Tortuous validation and customer care compounds the problem. To redress the balance I have also saved a fair bit too.

My Vodafone is expiring end of May

I wonder how far in advance I can sign up for this etc
    shyam91's avatar
Same situation here.. Mine ending on 11th April.. Vodafone is giving me 25pm..tried to haggle but not moving..
  35. tom48's avatar
As mentioned earlier the router is horrific I thought it couldn’t be as bad as everyone mentioned, always had sky with no issues so changed to a sky router from eBay for a £10 so much better
    Reebok.Ron's avatar
To be clear you mean it's horrific on wifi right? Because I get exactly 63MB/s and a faultless connection on the wired connection which is all I use.
  36. brendanhickey's avatar
Now broadband are brilliant, I got a similar deal 2 years ago and once my contract finished they put me on a £20 package without a contract.. they seem like a very fair company, I know they are sky but they seem so much better.. also my router broke after I dropped and the sent a replacement without any hassle
    j_jjj's avatar
My contract finishes next month. Did you have to ask them to put you on a £20 package or did they do it automatically
  37. dominicdiep's avatar
My contract just finished but now on a rolling contract, would i be able to switch to this?
    Reebok.Ron's avatar
No, new customers only, but you might get someone else in your household to sign up instead.
