How does this compare to the dell inspiron 14 5700u that was posted yesterday for £418?

Dell has better multi core performance, Samsing has better single core performance. Same battery capacity. Dell has a backlit keyboard and double the storage.

Any codes that can be added?

This should be standard price for this laptop. No way is this ever a £700 laptop. No backlit keyboard, typing experience average, decent screen, 256gb memory would be a joke at £700.

    I've got the Pro
Lovely very light laptop and really good battery life and obviously Samsung build quality
Samsung make these chewy to upgrade and the difference between 256 to 1 TB is hundreds which just isn't right

How does a 8GB ram handle Windows 11 and multitasking? I'm finding that even my Linux laptop is often reaching 8GB.

    Very good price, HOT

It looks like the Galaxy Book3 has been released, so expect discounts on the Book2 from all retailers soon.

Very random and niche question - this laptop or a £450 refurbished Lenovo t490 with 14inch screen 16gb ram but i5-8k series chip (refurbed by stonerefurb online shop). I know its a super specific question but thought I'd chance. Main things I'd like is the usb c for charging and monitor output in one port, portability, using it mainly for Microsoft Office, Web browsing and streaming. I have the t490 as my work laptop and its still working really well after more than 3 years of use (edited)

As long as you dont game. Either is suitable for you. But Samsung is much newer and will give you much better performance and battery.

So im looking for a laptop my macbook of 12+ years packed it in recently, would this be a great replacement , my only issue was the lack of dvd/cd drive , but seen you can get ones you plug in via USB. So this doesn't seem too bad, on the fence on this one.
