I bought the four person version of this tent last year, it flooded badly, I cannot recommend it at all. I got a refund and bought the berghaus air tent instead.

I had two air tents from Aldi, found it difficult to ensure their was enough pressure in to stay up, but not too much it popped (first one) or went down overnight (second one), went back to a vango with poles instead

£171 for a 6 person Air tent is very cheap 🔥

Aldi are sneaky with this - they bandy about their 3 year warranty an all that but we left this pitched up on our favourite campsite. Having returned only 1 year later the site manager said it got blown away.

I wouldn't have expected a warranty to cover that.

I’d pay a bit more and got for a Berghaus tent air tent, groundsheet is built in and doors zip fully so no chance or rain getting it and much easier to put up too.

How much is a bit more?

Does anyone have any experience with this tent? The site doesn't say the water proof rating, i.e. 3000mm or 4000mm

Poor reviews on the Aldi website

Yes, I'd say mixed reviews but certainly concerns over the construction. That being said, I've purchased this as a bit of starter kit as far as camping as a family of 4.

At this price and as a first foray, it was a buy from me

Hate the general design of these tents as experience has shown, the rooms with the most minimalist of sunshine turn into infernos.

Which makes them perfect for UK weather

this deal is alright if you are going to use the tent for long weekends when you know the weather will be alright but if you want something on a budget that can stand up to a bit more, then spend a little more and go for this eurohike air 400 or 600 they will stand up to a good amount of rainfall and last you a few years. i have has mine (air 600) now for 4 years now used it every year so far for around 3/4 weeks per year and its still going strong
we have been caught out in a storm in wales with winds up 60mph and very heavy rain and it was fine (a lot of people left after that night due to their tents flooding)
