Be aware that this only charges the batteries one at a time. It won’t charge them all together.

Can'yreally see the point of this if charges only one battery at a time, much better to buy the solo 5Ahr charger anyway, charges in half the time, so particularly beneficial if you have a number of 4/6/9Ahr batteries.

Because when you come home from work with six dead batteries, you just put them on the charger and that's it until the next morning.

Been after one of these forever but refused to pay over £100! Thanks!

For anyone interested, if I remember correctly these only charge one at a time instead of all 6 at once.

Are you serious? So what's the purpose of this? It's more like a battery holder than 6x charger, innit? I s'pose one single charger and a shelf for rest of batteries will do just fine. Even if one single charger probably costs close to this price. Or am I missing something?

Been after this charger for so long but wasn't willing to pay the full RRP. Just ordered, so thank you! My only gripe would be that the US version has a USB output built in but the UK spec doesn't.

Are you sure you aren’t thinking of the RC18640?

That’s the 4Ah version that also has a USB port

Got an email today with a new version of this in it, so that probably explains the price drop.

Does anyone know whether or not it is detrimental to ryobi batteries to leave them at 100% for periods of time?

I have the original (flat) version, and the guide stated that it was intended that batteries could be left on the charger and the charger would check regularly and top up as necessary with no detriment. So this newer version may well be the same.

what's the point of this monstrosity??? especially as, as people say in the comments it only (slowly) charges 1 battery at a time?

I have just placed an order as they are showing in stock again.
Thanks OP, been wanting one for a while but couldn't justify the full price.
