Gives me a 10% voucher too so £28.29 don’t know if that’s the case for anyone else?

The same dimensions, load, etc, for £24.96 delivered amazon.co.uk/dp/…562
    Both look good.
Although I prefer the Screwfix and Halfords ones, which are 45cm deep.
I got Halfords shelving units a few months ago. They've just been on offer again around two weeks ago hotukdeals.com/dea…827

Are these heat resistant? My toaster has melted the plastic shelf above it over the past year

From experience these are usually made of MDF. That should be less resistant to melting . The only note around having MDF shelves is that they are susceptible to absorbing moisture initially causing them to sag. Then later on they can develop mould spots.

Good for storing crap you should have thrown away years ago.

I'd love some of these but can't face moving all the crap to make room to put these up in the first place.

If you succeed, you will end up with these assembled with all your crap on, then a row of crap next to these that you will need to find more space for. It might take a year or two, but you'll get there.

Can't belive how the price of these have shot up.
3 years ago I got 6 sets for £100 for the Mancave from JTF.
Great shelf sets and my plastic sets are in a pile now.

These are the full height, deep shelf, units which are the ones to go for. A bit more expensive than last year but still a good investment. Have a few in my garage and they're great, plus no mould on the shelves like folks used to find.

They are not the deepest, I bought some similar ones recently from Amazon, I believe they are 60cm deep, 120cm wide, as opposed to 40cm deep. (edited)

thanks, perfect for my cupboard which has just had stuff dumped on top of, can make it a bit more organised

Not necessarily these exact shelves, but I have similar and the shelves have all bowed and bent on some and I've not had a great deal of weight on them.

Has anyone managed to source replacement stronger shelves for units like this or is it just as well to buy sheets of wood from the DIY shop and cut them to size? Plywood or similar would I guess be stronger?

This might be a very dumb question - but are these appropriate to put up in a boarded part of a loft? Wouldn't be putting anything too heavy on them, and could potentially split into two I guess?

    Yes they are

Just as work expands to fill available time so does clutter in available space.

    Okay price.
Must have put quite a few of these together. Getting a sense that less than 180x120x60mm is not really worth the trade off in effort putting them up. (edited)

Don't be too swayed by the 175kg per shelf as that is evenly distributed over the whole 40 x 90cm area. Shove something weighing 25kg in the middle and the thin hardboard shelf is going to bend.

Fine if you only want to use it for very light duty storage though but you can probably get better deals at places like Halfords where the same ones are £32.99 but they always seem to have £5 off codes floating around. Or sign up to their free membership for an instant £5 off.
