Shouldn't you be using hand soap anyway if you've just had a poo?

Go to Aldi get 24 rolls for £6
    Abdullah_Zafar's avatar
Actually £6.99 now. They used to be £6
  4. MattMac's avatar
Of course these aren't the best toilet rolls ever BUT... you'll find it hard to find this quality for anywhere near this price, especially with home delivery. Andrex 2 ply (very very thin) for example is £21 on Amazon for 45 rolls.

the shea butter ones of these freedom smell proper nice, a roll only weights 69g which is about a third less than the likes of amazon presto 2 ply which weight in at 104g per roll, the centre hole of the roll on these freedom is well huge towards other makes.

I normally get these or phoenix from Groupon for 13.99, or 90 for around 25quid works out 22p ish a roll, does for my lot..Good price here too

Any of those deals live at the moment?

Isn't the farm foods 4 x 18 (72) for £22 (use the £2.50 off £25) a better offer? Obviously you need to buy something else to reach the £25 spend.
    MattMac's avatar
Farmfoods is a good deal for toilet rolls. This does save bringing 72 toilet rolls back from the local farm foods though. Or for those who don't have one nearby.

For anyone interested/wondering - I compared this to a roll of 3ply Nicky 'Elite' you can get from Home bargains (32 pack around £9something pence).

-Freedom rolls have a bigger core than the Nicky and they do feel lighter - possible fewer sheets per roll
-Freedom rolls do feel softer than Nicky (Haven't actually used any TP yet...) but that might be because the sheets are thinner
-Freedom roll weighs ~67g, Nicky weighs ~99g. Suggesting that you don't get as much as a Nicky roll

As mentioned above, have't actually used it yet but feels like you would need to use more sheets - butt time will tell

I just checked as well and confirm freedom are lighter and thinner. Will try to find out in the coming weeks.

How does this compare to the 3ply Aldi and Lidl versions which sell for £6.99 for a 24 rolls? Thanks (edited)
    ELVIS_THE_PELVIS's avatar
Exactly. This is the one to go for. 8p per 100 sheets.
  13. FrostyGlovez's avatar
Just what i need, good enough but not too luxury considering the kids use about half a roll per turd. Heat.
  14. subhi's avatar
How does this compare to costco toilet paper?
    misiokicio's avatar
wondering the same, really enjoying Costco one myself( no finger thru) and its 240 sheets per roll vs here 160 sheets per roll, costco is like 23 quid per 40 rolls, i think I'll stick with what i know
  15. Krzysztof_Skiba's avatar
Aldi got a good price, 6.99 for 24 rolls.

There are 4 thicknesses of paper, thick, medium, thin and yuk. I can only guess what category this falls into
    MattMac's avatar
    It's 3ply. It's still medium thickness.
