Probably the best priced new 3060 laptop on the market right now?

Yes, in terms of the CPU too this is a really good buy

Thicky question. But reckon this would fit into a backpack for work or be too heavy?

My current one is light but crap.

Definitely on the bulky heavier side, around 2.5-3kg plus charger. All bulkier gaming laptops will be around this weight though, aside from I.e. Asus Rog flow or Asus Zephyrus line.

My old 2.5kg laptop was a bit bothersome and bulky to carry around, so I highly recommend you to find something else if portability is more important than power. Also, bulky and heavy -> less space to store other things on the bag, "bothersome" to pack up compared to ultrabooks etc...

battery life is crap (relative to notebooks/ultrabooks) in most if not all gaming laptops, it will need plugging in often.

Screen on paper seems to be acceptable though for normal day to day/gaming

I guess it’s just the build quality/warranty/customer services that is going against this great price?

Build quality is fine tbh i've had multiple G15's and never had an issue

Perfect timing. Kid dropped her Lenovo 3050ti laptop and broke it. Insurance are paying out so I've ordered this to replace it.

This seems like a very good deal apart from the 6GB of VRAM on the GPU but I think for my gaming needs this would do the trick still.

Monster spec but 6GB VRAM kills the experience for me as it will struggle in the future to push 165hz at 1080p on triple A games but should be fine at medium to low settings.

Would this laptop be able to play warzone well?

I have this and have owned it 6months or so. Good PC. Has an extra NVME port also for upgrading, so i shoved in another 1TB to expand the memory. Comes apart fairly easily - you WILL break a few tabs, but thats part of the experience and doesnt affect it in any way.
  16. watugot's avatar
Would you be able to play warzone on this laptop and get good frame rate/ graphics?
  17. filip737's avatar
Any real downside to this? Apart from maybe battery life?
    Takavor_Vardig's avatar
graphics card......if this was a RTX3070 than it would be awesome.

I ended up using this deal and it arrived last night. It's for my lads Birthday, I hope it's a good machine for his study and some pc gaming. I can see the price is back up, not sure if the current price is realistic, but happy with what we paid.

It will be more than enough. Unless he is a hard core gamer that likes to play the latest games on the highest settings possible. It would run all games on decent settings
