These look like the ones I have. They are good, but please wear gloves when assembling. The thin metal is unforgiving.

    I winced when I read this 😳

The wood is untreated, goes mouldy even with slight hint of moisture in the air, otherwise its easy to assemble (use mallet) once you figure out one joint. I suggest you paint the panels before using them.

yep con confirm on the mould lol

Does anyone know if these can be wall mounted while still grounded, so that they don't sway/move?

There are a few pre drilled holes in the frame that you can use to fix to a wall.

For a moment I thought this weighed 175kg.
Anyone know how much it actually weighs? Nothing relevant in the description or specifications section of the product page.

I have one, box says total contents weight 10kg. They weight next to nothing.

I’d imagine yacht varnish would work, as you’re mainly wanting to prevent it getting damp/ wet (Wilko’s sell it) but I’m no expert. (edited)

I keep trying to figure out if the 265kg units would be more sturdy than the 175kg units.
Obviously they SHOULD be, but marketing people can be quite creative.

Checking the Halfords website, I note that they have exactly the same pictures for both 175kg and 265 kg units.
I guess Halfords do not have assembled shelves on display in store.

Had these for a year or so . Good size and can take a fair weight . As previously stated wear a pair of gloves when assembling as the metal will tear your hands to shreds.

Does anyone know if it'd be possible to trim 5/10cm off the top off this?
My shed is right on the limit of allowing 180cm up against the wall
