50075172-7Ftjz.jpgI bought loads of these boxes a while ago but they're crap! The bottom bits that the catches latch on to eventually break. I ended up upgrading to their toughboxes which are far superior. (edited)

Toughsystem looks great but is way more expensive than TSTAK.  You must have been giving them some punishment to break those bits!

Why are plastic toolboxes so expensive. It’s gone like a fashion statement. Shame the NVQ lot still can’t use what’s in them. Trades today are dire, all looks and very little skill. Gawd help them when us advanced craft CG boys are gone.

So you're telling me that domestic electrical installations today are of a lower quality than in the 80s?

With top cashback doing a £2 bonus today that's an excellent deal.

I have screwdrivers, other bits of tools. I assume this is not what this toolbox is for?

Grab yourself a decent tote - plenty of options to put your bits and bibs where you can get at them rather than just throwing them all in a deep box. I’ve got a tote for the likes of screwdrivers, etc and my circular saw lives in one of these boxes (edited)

Thanks, I was looking at having some more and the £2 TCB made it a sweeter deal

Handy box, can’t remember the rating but you can also stand on them

Great boxes but the metal clips keep disattach and kept losing them.

I have 3 boxed without clips

I need a box to put all my car gear in, battery charger, jump starter, obd reader, and tpms tools, this suitable for such storage?

Good idea, I never thought to put car gear in, I’ll have to get some more. Should be fine, give it a measure to see if your bits will fit in.

Sweet. I have a £10 off voucher too makes this £9.99 great toolbox already got one. Made it into a portable powerstation (lithium battery/charger inside the box)

When did a box get renamed as a Storage System?
    mickhitchuk's avatar
To true, and it’s not the better box with the little lift up storage area on top

Missed it last time when it was on offer. Luckily in stock at my local screwfix. Bought two

Cracking price OP but thankfully I have no more room in the shed!

Would these be suitable to house a DCS570N 18v circular saw?
    mark9915's avatar
Yep that’s where mine lives.  You can pick up an inlay but IMO it’s not great and you may be better with the TSTAK foam if the saw will fit in the box with foam instead. (edited)
