Hey - does anyone have experience with this monitor? Would it be suitable for work? Mainly spreadsheets and browsers. Thanks in advance.

I use this as my work monitor and it's great for displaying multiple windows. I use the middle portion of the screen as my main work area, with documentation, outlook etc on the left and right section of the screen.

This monitor also allows you to connect keyboard and mouse directly to the monitor, thereby permitting any device connected to the monitor to use them. This is very handy if you have more than one machine connected e.g. laptop and PC.

My work laptop is also able connect via USB-C and charge when connected, therefore no dock is needed.

USB-C and good size. Shame 34" wide screen is not as good as 32" 4k for work.

Depends on your work - ultra wide is way better in my experience for multiple ssh terminals etc.

Looks like a great monitor - fantastic to see these big monitors coming down. I paid £800 for a similar spec’d benq a few years ago.

How bizarre I literally posted this monitor as an example to someone in this thread >

I didn't even consider it could be a deal. Anyway good luck with your deal (edited)

Me neither, thought it might be a premium account thing…

Not a techie, how does this compare to the deal posted? Would appreciate any advice..
Using for spreadsheets mostly. Thank you

Seems like a decent find as it has an ips display rather than a VA?

I bought this earlier in the month and it’s great, changed from two 27” monitors and much prefer this. Don’t forgot TCB, mine tracked at 24.37

Hi. Really interested how this size works over two separate displays, especially with zoom screen sharing. Is it weird having apps without a bezel? Thanks!

Posted about this deal last year when it was £292 hotukdeals.com/dea…443

However I had to return it since it couldn't connect to my MacBook Pro via USB-C for an external display (even the replacement monitor they sent didn't work).

Does anyone have access to the Dell Advantage deals?

And I can't seem to find the 14% Quidco from DELL?

I think the quidco may have been a bonus they had yesterday where it was doubled for some stores. I think it's back to 7.7% for monitors now. I'll update the post.

Thanks, just opted for this for work from home setup. Used Dell Advantge for another 10% off.

Could you tell me how to get access to Dell Advantage please?

Does anyone know what this would be like for music production. I currently use a single 34" 4k display but would using 2 of these monitors, one above the other, give me any distinct advantage with workflow?
  13. KineticTheMage's avatar
Does anyone know what the difference is between this one (S3423DWC) and S3422DWG (which is also on special for the same amount).

This deal has been extended until Thursday 4th May so should perhaps be unexpired.

I was considering this for work (programming) but haven’t had a VA panel before is it going to be bad
  16. ourdave's avatar
well that's a pest....had it in my basket last night...decided to sleep on it.

Back up to £459 this morning.

Same here thought we had until Thursday to decide but seems this monitor isn't included in the extended sale
  17. Dylan1357's avatar
Anyone else received their monitor and finding it a bit washed out in the corners? It also can’t match the colours and whites of my sell 1080p laptop… wondering if I have a faulty panel or just high expectations?
