Oneplus are done for me. Had them last two phones but both have charging issues within 2-3 years of getting them, and I'm incredibly careful around issues like ports and charging habits. Definitely going with Pixel for my next device

Don't go pixel had charge port issues

Confused between this and Samsung S23. Any suggestions?

S23 completes with OnePlus 11 . Not OnePlus 10 .

How does this compare to the Xiaomi 12T Pro?

Conflicting camera reviews online, to those who have the handset, what's your opinion on camera? I am interested in the Fold 4 as well, but I feel the Fold hasn't really settled just yet. I mean maybe Fold 5 or 6 will be optimum, Samsung would have ironed creases and other things (edited)

I think a lot depends what you're comparing to /upgrading from. I'm no camera expert but I enjoy taking pictures. Reading the reviews before purchasing this phone I think my expectations were too high because I upgraded from a Oppo Find X3 Neo and the Oneplus is very similar in most instances. To be honest the X3 Neo was slightly better as a point and shoot in many circumstances because this one requires more fiddling to get quality images IME. Perhaps Oppo and Oneplus use different image processing (despite being part of the same company) because I know this has a superior sensor than the Oppo. Sometimes the colours are overly vivid (on both) and some lighting conditions gives horrible results on the 10 Pro IME. All that said, I was very happy with the X3 Neo camera when I had it - so I guess this was just an underwhelming "upgrade" camera-wise. One thing, as mentioned in my comment above, the macro shots were a near deal breaker for me and I considered returning it because of that. Tried different camera apps with limited success. Heard some people online got good results with Gcam mod but when I tried I couldn't get all cameras to function (although I didn't play around with it much tbh). Text becomes unreadable on all close up shots without fiddling with zoom and distance etc. I decided to just live with it using zoom as a workaround after reading online other people suffering the same problem without any obvious solution

I have pictured so many moments with this camera and still surprised with the performance. I got this phone back in July and very happy with the purchase!

OS is now Android 13 on these. Not sure why Amazon put 9.0.
Overall a great phone; lovely screen, nice performance & charging. Can use RAM boost up to 24GB which is great for hundreds of chrome tabs like me
Slightly disappointed with the camera because it struggles with focus on close-ups. Have to hold it further away and use zoom otherwise focus is really bad, I guess because it lacks a macro setup. Other than that the camera is decent.
Nice discount though. Hot 🔥

Was just about to pull trigger but macro is a must for me...

You can get 11 plus pro directly from OnePlus for £799. This phone is more than a year old and price has depreciated over time. 40 percent discount from Amazon is kinda misleading if you consider the age of it.

Does the performance difference justify the price difference of £264?

My 3 and a half year old OnePlus 7T pro has 12gb RAM and 256Gb of storage. Have phones not advanced in recent years?

Phone manufacturers figured out that it's way easier to just make their current phones more expensive for more profit instead of innovating, so we now have much worse phones for higher prices and complete stagnation in every aspect except the cameras. Also 5G fell into complete irrelevancy once mobile network providers were asked to dump all the Huawei 5G towers they just installed, so 4G is not going away anytime soon.

Sold Mine. Didn’t impress me.

So it had the looks, but not the touch?

I have an 8 pro but tempted at the upgrade
Just.Wondering
Same.... But I'm told it is not a bad upgrade...

Very tempting. Interestingly, the USA OnePlus website has this listed for $550 (~£435). UK website is £699. Maybe hope for a little more local discount in the coming days?
I'm still using the Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T 8Gb RAM / 128 storage.
The battery drain is bad and I have slight screen burn.
Maybe this is the year to upgrade, lol.

How does this conpare to the pixel 7 pro?

Much better faster CPU than Samsung slow CPU and modem , better battery life as made by Tsmc not Samsung . But Google provides more updates and first one to get Android updates .

No WiFi 6E in either OnePlus 10 Pro or OnePlus 10T. New phones with Snapdragon 8 gen 2 support new WiFi 7. (edited)

OnePlus 10t has 160w very fast charging and better SOC , 16gb ram . Though this has better camera and screen.
Deal_HUNT3R
160W is nice but the gains become small after 80W.

Been thinking about changing my s20fe and that phone seems like a very nice deal. Need to think about it. I'm just worried about that procesor, heard that Gen 1 (non +) can get toasty and drains the battery rather quickly? (edited)

This or Pixel 7?
mouse.mouse
This . Pixel 7 does not even come with a charger. Very slow Samsung CPU in pixel . But Pixel gets latest Android updates. And will be supported by Google for longer, and more second hand value . Some OnePlus diehard fans also left when Carl Pei left and badmouth OnePlus stock ROM now in comparison to Nothing phones .
