About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Great deal on parking, 24 hours for £5.00 in a great location if your heading to Liverpool for any Eurovision events this week or even a day shopping. It works out a lot cheaper than 4 return rail tickets for us, the trains are also on strike Friday/Saturday this week. Just make sure you have registered prior to entering the car park. Link to the website above.

Important – you will be asked to “subscribe” to the £5 offer on the website. The word subscribe means the company will keep your car information for 12 months, you are not subscribing to a monthly charge. The £5 will be charged as and when you use it only.

I am coming up for the Eurovision festivities this weekend - Friday and Saturday, leaving Sunday.

Its nice to see somewhere that isnt charging extortionate pricing to capitalise on the descending crowd.

Is it a large car park? Likelihood of me paying for this, getting there, and the car park being full..?

Yes it's a large multi-storey, about 9 or ten floors I think. Ive never had a problem finding a space. You enter your car reg and debit card details on line when you pre register. The camera will pick up your reg on entry and you will not be charged until you exit, no prepayment is needed.

If you use Skelhorne Street, Liverpool L3 5GH that will get you there with no problems. Drive to the bottom
of Skelhorne Street and take a right you will see the ramp to the carpark on your left. Hope this helps.

So if you are going to be parked there for several days say 3 days this will be £15?.

I wonder if this applies to just the first 24 hours only, the website is very vague and does not clarify this...

"Check out how to park with us for only £5 for 24 hours"

Actually, scrub that I found the answer...

"The maximum stay in the car park is 5 days. Please be advised that you will be charged £5 per day for this, not £5 in total." (edited)

Bear in mind that the exit from here can be absolutely awful depending on how busy it is.
As you come out, it only allows a few cars through the lights, and can cause massive delays.
In December, cars on the higher levels took over 4 hours to get out.
Also, the last few times that I have been they has changed to the exit routine so you had to use the card that you had used to pay instead of the cameras recognising your car and letting you through.

Funny you say that.. just looked on Google Maps and the area around the carpark is in Red and showing as "very busy",.

Got to love councils and parking charges
Let's bring people in because the shops are empty and closing

Alternatively let's charge £7 for just over an hour, yes I mean you Sheffield city council

Running a car is expensive enough without councils ripping us off as well,do they not want people using the high street hense shops close down, are trying to make us shop online instead

If you’re a member of JD gyms you can get 80% discount on parking in town at moorfields NCP by scanning your parking ticket inside, works out as roughly £1 for a couple of hours

What a discount, that would probably work out cheaper than the deal I've posted. Thanks for sharing.

    Heat added.

There's also a £4 all-day car park just past this BP goo.gl/map…=tt which is about 10-15 mins walk from St Johns

Why not park @ Mount Pleasant Car Park? Same price and great location. Their lefts aren't working at the moment though.

Having just been stung the best part of £15 to park in John Lewis Q-Park this is an attractive deal. However, over the past few years just finding the entrance to St Johns Car Park has been almost impossible because the road layout seems to change every week. And as noted here, getting out again can take forever. I guess this may be why they're trying to incentivise people to use it... because everyone has started parking elsewhere.

Nice idea if going for a break as £5 for 24 hours is cheap, but not sure about them storing my debit card details for a year

good to see a deal on parking, this is a good location but very tight spaces. Just been the eurovision myself, parked at sandhills train station (just one stop from centre) cost me £3.75 for me and my 11 yr old to spend day at Eurovillage..best option to do that and save time and money

With apologies for going off on a tangent for any Glaswegians out there you can park all day for £8 at cadogan street if you apply for a discount card (free) from the council. I'd been paying a fortune in the Q Park till i realised this was abailable

Do you think I'll get any hassle if I sleep in my car here?

I don't see why not, it's your car and your paying to park there.
