Just bought the Q35's for £90. Should I return them for these?

    Yep.

Wore these on a long haul flight and they were excellent at blocking out cabin noise.

Just spent an hour on the train and the noise cancelling really struggled.

On both adaptive and full noise cancelling, it kept cutting out and letting through ambient noise every 20 seconds or so. Really disappointing.

These get reviewed as being amazing for noise cancelling, but they aren't bulletproof. The return window has closed now too, so I'm stuck with them.

Are these better than the similar priced WH-CH710N or wh-ch710n

I hope so. I bought the 710N for £60-70 and was quite disappointed, so I returned them. Seems these are more comparable with the 720s:

Excellent - I've been waiting for these to come down below £100, although same price direct from Anker with cashback. (edited)

Bought them a few months ago and they're flawless. Best headphones on the market under £100 full stop.

Any thoughts on longevity and build quality - my Q30 are really good, but are slowly falling apart and are held together with tape and cable ties!

They are pretty good, the sound is good but the top headband is thin and it does cause fatigue after a couple of hours use. (edited)

I think I got a dud set. Sound quality is pretty awful even after adjusting the eq (like listening through a tin can), and the noise cancelling is barely as good as the 5 year old £50 set of taotronics they were meant to replace. Somehow the sound is even worse with the noise canceling turned off, too.
Fingers crossed its just a bad set

Has this ever dropped to this price on Amazon/Anker or waiting for new model to come out?

I'm on the fence between these and the Sony WH-CH720N for the same price. Any recommendations?

Same here tbh. Tempted by the 720Ns because apparently they're more comfortable and honestly I imagine both sound a lot better than I'm used to

Standard sale price. Been waiting for these to drop below £80 and the 1more to drop below £60.

Have the Q45 ever been that cheap? I do need new headphones and I thought this was a decent price - I would not expect them to get much cheaper, surely? (edited)

Bought the Q35 for £68 from amazon france and bought ~Q30 yesterday for £54 from amazon uk. Now I have to send the Q35 back - and it is going to be a pain with posting.

I recently bought the Q30"s. Happy with them for now, but I'm curious what the later models are like. Do they keep getting better?

The sound pretty much the same as the q30s but has the better ANC and passive noise cancelling but the cups get hotter. It's the same drivers and same sound.

The build , cup size and ANC, active and passive, are where the biggest differences are.

I own both and really still wear my lighter and cooler q30's to death with my PC where noise cancelling is not huge issue and the q30's handle the fan noise well enough.

These don't directly improve on sound over the q30s it just adds ANC to the mix. So you really only buy these for the ANC not a direct sound improvement over it's siblings. (edited)
