If I have to tell you how much petrol is down south, there'd be so many expletives attached to it, I'd be banned

I don't know about your Sainsbury but my local is dropping the fuel prices for the weekend & then hiking them up again Mon-Thurs.

Mine just keeps them higher than independents every day whilst the company pretends to be supporting the consumer lol

Try putting some additives in when you top up. I have been using Hydra PiC-24 for a while in every-other-tank. Works put about an extra £1.20 per every-other-tank. Peace of mind, placebo effect maybe!

So much cheaper than in Norfolk but happy to pay the extra 10p a litre as used to live near Ashton. It'll be another 3 months before we match this price

Sad to see that diesel is still being overpriced to subsidise unleaded. But good to see prices starting to get more rational in so many areas.

Still can't understand why diesel is cheaper than petrol on the continent i.e. Belgium but more expensive here

Just one stop up the motorway at Costco Oldham it's 130.9 for Petrol and 134.9 for diesel, premium is 137.9

The diesel at Sainsburys is very expensive the Petrol not so bad.

anyone know why in wales diesel is generally cheaper than unleaded? only by a couple of pence generally, but it seems crazy when where i am at least theres like a 10+pence hike

It has usually always been more expensive than petrol but at the moment and at least a few times in recent years it has been cheaper for some reason.

yea, its just right now, diesel is say 10-15p more than unleaded where i live, but on the same day in wales, the fuel are both about 10-15 p cheaper, but not only that the diesel is less than unleaded there,

Not everywhere in Wales. We're 30 mins North of Cardiff and Diesel is about 8-10p more than unleaded at local stations.
They also kept it above 160 for a lot longer than elsewhere.
