Bought this from Asda yesterday. Looks great all built up in the shop. Great value for money. I’ve always been a “ I’m not using gas for a bbq” kinda guy so this is easing me in gently! Plus the Mrs is one of those pesky veggies so makes it easier to cater for her.

I’ve had one for the last two years, the gas is great for keeping food you’ve cooked over the charcoal bbq hot! If that helps ease you in

Got one last year took me about 4 hours to build you'll need a gas bottle if you haven't got one which is about £70 for approx 4kg

I find charcoal section is too small it should have been the othe way round not keen on cooking with gas doesn't taste the same but you could start it on gas and finish it on charcoal (edited)

It’s definitely a bit of a slog to put together! But it’s solid once it’s up, and heavy. Worth investing in a heavy duty cover for it too, mine still looks brand new after 2 years.

What size propane bottle is best? 5kg patio?

I struggled to find someone to refill patio gas this year; so I’ve got a new regulator and moved to standard propane. The regulator on the bbq fits patiogas (has the push button)
