Only thing I liked was it looked like back to basics but looked bit bland and samey , we have seen the Arabian landscape few times now, I bet it to flop.

Pre ordering games in 2023, smh. While it is a good price, the chances of this game running like rubbish are very high with the state of AAA games in 2023.

Agreed. Spider-Man 2 is my most anticipated game of the year, but I don't think I'll even pick that up day 1. Developers just can't be trusted to put out finished products at release anymore, and I'd rather wait a few weeks than be disappointed by a broken experience.

Havent played AC since Brotherhood so seeing it go back to its origins means i'm definitely getting this. This type of AC game/setting/atmosphere feels legitimate and thus more immersive for me.

Paying £38.85 to ride a camel instead of a horsie, TAKE MY MONEY UBISOFT! It'll crash in price very quickly, I've never understood anyone who buys a single player game on release or for RRP, especially an AC game, they're all very samey.

Whilst I’m glad they are going back their roots, something about the trailer felt dated, not sure if if it’s the somewhat cartoony animations & it looks like a previous gen game running at a higher resolution especially after playing a game like ghost of Tsushima which was really pushing tech. Maybe due to many recent bad releases they are playing it safe.

Agreed it just looks like the same engine as AC Valhalla, no real upgrade on a technical level, certainly looks like the same quality.

Hopefully the games beyond this use a newer engine.

After the mess of valhalla and far cry 6 I wouid not pre order.
I've seen the gameplay videos of mirage and it's valhalla reskinned.
Valhalla is an absolutely awful game with the worst ai I've seen in a game. Yes I did pre order and also fell for the season pass. Years later, ubisoft never fixed the ai. FC6 is as reskin of FC5. The ai is worse than awful.
At best just get the u play monthly subscription for one month. (edited)

Hmm. That is an uninspiring trailer. Looks like AC in many respects, animations, character movement, finishers in combat, Wonder if they have stripped out the RPG bits?

Probably give it a miss and just play Odessey again.

The fact the pre-orde is for this price and this early does not bode well. Screams to me they dont think this is a "full" assassins creed game.
