If you don't need one right now, I would suggest waiting a few more months. SSDs are expected to become about 30% cheaper. We are already starting to see the prices drop, but if experts are to be believed, SSDs, MicroSD cards are all expected to get even cheaper (edited)

They've always been getting cheaper. The best way to save money if you don't need one is to not buy at all.

Grabded this a few days ago using nectar points and one of their £5 discount codes, handy little thing.

Purchased one last week from argos, it refused to work with my usbc port on the laptop(windows 11), throwing up write errors on a 2mb file! 'Blackmagic disk speed test' didn't work when this drive was plugged into the laptop's usbc port. All worked OK with the other usb3 ports. Tried a different (known working) cable but had no luck. Purchased a different brand 1TB drive which works perfectly, so it wasn't an issue with the ucbc port on my laptop and definitely an issue with this drive. Shame really, aesthetically - this Samsung drive looks really nice and it's tiny, would have loved to keep it. (edited)
