Grand Seiko Elegance GMT 39mm Green 'Shunbun' Dial Men's Automatic Bracelet Watch SBGJ251.

This Grand Seiko Elegance GMT watch is inspired by how each of the four seasons of the year is experienced in six phases in Japan - all of which have their own distinct characters. Presenting the time on a deep captivating green dial, the GMT watch celebrates one of the year’s 24 seasonal phases or sekki. The green dial and rose gold tone accents perfectly capture the arrival of spring as the wild cherry trees in the mountains, long covered with frost, start to bloom. This men’s Grand Seiko Shunbun watch is crafted from stainless steel and measures a diameter of 39.5mm. An anti-reflective coating on the inner surface of the watch’s box-shaped sapphire crystal glass rids the dial of any undesirable glare. The Elegance GMT watch from Grand Seiko is powered by the Calibre 9S86, which delivers a 55-hour power reserve and promises an accuracy of +5 to -3 seconds per day. The 24-hour GMT hand points to an inner 24-hour track, accompanied by faceted central hour and minute hands, baton hour markers and a date window at 3 o’clock. The watch is completed on a robust stainless steel bracelet with a three-fold clasp.

From personal experience with this company, I'd always check that they physically own the actual watch prior to parting with my hard earned cash.

I bought a watch from them, it was expensive. After 3 months of being patient waiting for my watch at an amazing price & being fobbed off, finally they acknowledged that they did not in fact own or have possession of the watch I'd purchased & that they could locate them, but not on the Grey Market at a price they would still make a profit, so they just simply cancelled the order.

No apology, just...we can't make a profit at that price, heres your money back that we've held for 3 months.

As a watch collector, this is the reason I will never deal with this company ever again.

Just my own personal factual experience.

Another Watch that tells the time........ next there will be sticks in the ground telling time and costing £3000 ....... when does the greed stop.

I can afford it but am not a fool easily parted with my hard earned cash.
Its not even an investment for the future this watch.

For this price I would go for a Swiss watch (edited)

There isnt a Swiss brand out there that can produce the same quality product as Grand Seiko for the same money.

If you are attracted to brand over quality, sure, knock yourself out.

I’m always amazed by what is posted on Hotukdeals candles for 20p yet watches for £5k and even log cabins for £38k. If it keeps this up it might have to change its name to richfolksukdeals.

Personally, I find the 20p candles and 19p beans are what ruin the site - I'm here for the interesting stuff.

It's a lovely watch, but by God does it depreciate severely even at sale price. Check out the used value on Chrono 24.

GS always seem to be cheaper from Japan. But by the time you factor in taxes, shipping and wither or not you get the 5 year warranty sometimes it cheaper to buy here assuming you are looking for a new one. (edited)
