Dual camera, lush lighting
Each of its dual cameras has a 50MP sensor, for brilliant realism, while Night Mode and image stabilisation ensure crisp detail in any light setting. Shoot crystal-clear 4K HDR Video at 60fps for exceptionally smooth, clear movies. It even includes its own studio lighting. Set the Glyph interface to full brightness for a portable, gentle ring-light, rather than the harshness of a flash.

Beautiful display
OLED display. HDR10+. A billion colours. The screen on the Nothing Phone delivers true-to-life colour and deep, real-world contrast. And an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate means super-responsive interaction, visuals, graphics, and gameplay.

High performance battery
Get up to 16 hours of power from every charge, get 50% of power from just 30 minutes of charging. And it’s compatible with Qi-certified wireless chargers too (available separately).

5G capability
The Nothing Phone’s future-proofed 5G modem will enable you to still use 4G, however depending on your network provider, you'll experience incredible speeds and better quality streaming video, along with more reliable network connections when you're in crowded places - especially during peak times.

Got my Vodafone SIM this morning and just did the STAC process, fast and easy.

    Process:

Place O2 SIM into nothing phone and TEXT/SMS STAC to 75075

O2 will then almost instantly TEXT back the STAC code (6 numbers with 3 letters at the end)

Now go to the following website:
    myaccount.vodafone.co.uk/set…ber

Click on 'Cancel old number' option
Now enter the O2 (nothing phone) SIM number into the top field & the STAC code O2 just sent you into the bottom field.

    Then simply follow the commands.
You will be asked when you want to cancel it, I tried selecting today but it appears the earliest you can choose is the following day so select that from the calender.

That's it, you're done! Super easy and only takes like a couple of minutes :-)

I supposedly canceled mine yesterday on the phone so was somewhat expecting this process to fail?!? So either it takes time when manually canceling or the numpty on the phone didn't cancel it correctly ?!?!

I'd strongly advise people to do the STAC process, it's FREE and the Vodafone SIM arrives next day.

    **EDIT**
Forgot to mention that Vodafone will send a verification code to the Vodafone SIM when doing the STAC process, just pop the Vodafone SIM into the phone AFTER you have got the STAC code from O2 BUT before you start the STAC process on the Vodafone website (See link above).

I didn't do this and swapped in the SIM mid process which I think is why my first verification code from Vodafone didn't come through!! (No biggie, they had an option to send again and that time it worked NP) (edited)

Thanks for the detailed guide, which others will find useful especially if they've never done this kind of thing before.

To those trying to get it for £160 by customising the deal themselves, I'm afraid that won't work!

So you'll need to pay off that final £39 if you go for the second option!

Hey just wanted to say thanks for this deal, phone just arrived via DHL in excellent condition despite it being in just a plastic bag with no protection.

Only using this phone as a spare/backup but I'm very impressed the whole phone and
performance is incredible, phone feels way more expensive than it is. Beautiful screen, haptics are some of the best I've tried, fast snappy, nice clean software and the glyphs are very cool.

Makes me want to jump ship and excited to see how nothing bodes in the future.

Also a quick call to O2 and the SIM airtime is cancelled and being refunded.

Cancel the sim card as soon as the phone arrives. You must state that you're cancelling the sim card during the 14 day cooling off period and that you're keeping the phone. No monthly fee should be charged / monthly fee should get refunded.

I can only recommend using STAC code option for cancelling your contract within 14 days as you will be struggling to do this over the phone with O2 customer service team.

Tempted (to replace an aging S8+) but I just can't be bothered with cancelling the sim...
    cactusjack's avatar
Just text the word ‘STAC’ to 75075. This is a far easier option than calling o2 and it'll tell you of any money that needs paid. Ofcom set this up years ago. I can't remember the last time I had to call a provider to cancel a contract but I do remember it always being a nightmare. (edited)
  7. aniveryfunny's avatar
Ordered yesterday midnight, so expecting delivery on Monday. This afternoon I called O2 for cancelling monthly plan and the agent cancelled the plan without charging me anything and said, the monthly contract will be cancelled effective from 03/06 and will be charged £0.00 and as I fully paid for handset, I will receive it on 05/06.

Impossible to cancel the damm sim
    Crossbow's avatar
Do it the PAC/STAC way by getting a free PAYG SIM from another network - full instructions here kenstechtips.com/ind…act
"Because the standard cancellation process involves a lot more hassle (including a phone call to O2 customer services) and because it requires you to give 30 days' notice, we'd always recommend using the PAC Code or STAC Code process to cancel your contract where possible. In fact, you can simply order a free Pay As You Go SIM card from any mobile network (you'll then be able to follow the PAC Code or STAC Code process)."

P.S. Whichever way you choose, it must be noted that you could end up with a lowered credit score for a few months until it clears. (edited)

For anyone having problems with canceling when phoning them up tell them it literally says at the point of sale that you have 14 days to cancel and will only be charged for what has been used (Which is obviously zero if the SIM isn't even opened!)
I took a photo incase I got some numpty on the phone who didn't have a clue!
Others are welcome to use it: (Just threaten to email it to them if they aren't playing fairly!)

    Phone arrived today, thanks OP.
Stunning phone, make sure you run all the updates.
Phoned and canceled without issue, however I don't trust them so I have ordered a FREE vodafone PaYG SIM and will also be doing the STAC process in a couple of days to be on the safe side.

People can get a FREE vodafone SIM from here:

Have just rung O2 to cancel, mentioned the 14 day cooling off period and DSR, and they cancelled the contract and confirmed I had nothing to pay with a final bill coming through after the 14 days is up. Not received any email confirmation of this yet though...

Weirdly I also got a first bill from them today for £17 - haven't even received the phone and sim yet! Hoping this will all get resolved without having to pay any more money.
    Crossbow's avatar
"Weirdly I also got a first bill from them today for £17"
I think what happens is a bill gets automatically generated for the 1st month when you place the order, which hopefully will be rescinded when the cancellation request kicks in.
Just keep a close eye on your bank outgoings in the coming months.
O2 has been known to say they've cancelled something over the phone/chat, but you may still get charged if they haven't done it properly - happened to me once of the 3 times I took up such a deal in the past.
Adversely affected my credit rating for at least 6 months as well, despite not being at fault. (edited)
  15. chpperz's avatar
Anyone else had £17 taken today by O2, even having cancelled?

Edit: Spoke with O2 today - bill was generated the day before I cancelled. A final bill is produced 14 days after cancellation which will show the amount O2 need to refund.

Edit 20/06: Spoke to O2 again today having not received a final bill showing refund owed. They said I was due a £14.76 refund and they could process it over the phone. I queried why it was so little as I'd only effectively used 2 days of the contract - he said he didn't know why it was calculated in that way, however he said the £17 DD should never have been taken in the first place as I cancelled under the 14 day cooling off period. Said that he couldn't personally process the full £17 refund however I could choose to do an indemnity claim via my bank to reverse the DD. Couldn't be bothered with that faff so just requested the £14.76 refund, due in 5-10 working days. Painful. (edited)
    Shue's avatar
Similar situation here, used a PAC code to move away, was charged £17 via DD on the 19th, no products or services show in my O2 account since then, CS staff pretty unhelpful, no way to view any bills online, no access to their app, they seem to think I'll get an automatic refund via DD soon, but I don't trust them. Expecting to have to call back in 5-7 working days.

That will most likely work out same as this, you'll need to pay £39 more to clear the Device plan, then you should be able to cancel the contract.

Called yesterday to cancel contract. Took 45 minutes. And they need 30 days notice. Anyone got free cancellation as within 14 days cooling off period?
    Johnny.Bravo's avatar
Rang them today, asked to cancel under 14 days cooling off, and they told me my contract had been cancelled, I'd have nothing to pay and would get a final bill (presumably £0) in 14 days. But I haven't had email confirmation, just a bill notification for £17 that came before I rang them so who knows....
  26. Blitz8448's avatar
Just tried to call in to cancel my Sim card only, they told me it's not possible it's a "Refresh contract" and therefore you can't cancel it? I told them the contract is for 1 month period only and the handset was paid off upfront. They said I would need to return the whole device to cancel the contract...

Anyone else had this problem or was I just unlucky with the person I got?
    awesomegiles26's avatar
Think you got unlcuky, as person their clearly no idea what they are talking about. Make sure you say you are canceling within 14 day cooling off period. The O2 refresh contracts have the device and airtime separate, so if you cancel the airtime that has no impact on the device (I.e don't need to return) the only thing it would do is you need to pay off any remaining device plan amount outstanding (likely £0 if you chose the right plan)

    Answering my own question.
What will stop me getting cashback?

If you pay off or cancel a Refresh PAYM contract before the 6 month validation period is completed.

Anyone know how to use parallel apps on this?.

Eg, if using both sim slots , can have 2 separate WhatsApp accounts?
    redCabbage4's avatar
Without faffing around you could just use WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.
  30. dkj255's avatar
I've got two of these phones and think they're great: decent performance, wireless charging and almost stock Android. If you missed the Xiaomi 12 Lite that was on O2 refresh at the end of April for the same price then I'd say this is even better. Do be aware though that this has wifi 6 not 6E.
    EliTeAP's avatar
Yeahhhh but, is 6E really justifiable at the current time, unless you have the required setup at home or surrounding environments etc.

I am considering pulling the trigger to see what the NP1 is like though. (edited)

Nobody will match an O2 Refresh deal as there is nothing like for like that any other retailer does. I think people have tried anyway all over in past deals like these with no luck.

Hi, have you actually bought this deal, or were you just ringing up to enquire? Either way, I don't see how they can stop you cancelling under the Distance Selling Regs, ie the 14 day cooling off period.

At least that's what I hope, having just ordered....
