Not worth travelling to Morrisons for this deal, but if you are shopping at Morrisons anyway, look out "Anchor Unsalted Block Butter 250g" note it needs to be 250g. The butter is on the shelf discounted to £2, but is normally £2.49 - this scans at £2.49, but then they give you a discount (might need a Morrisons more card) of £1.49, so it goes through at £1 per pack.

On the shelf in York (Foss Island Road), it seems they are reducing the pack size from 250g to 200g for the same price - so stocks will be limited.

Just thought i would post it, but don't travel just for this deal as stocks will be limited.

This deal is not available online.

If you shop online, check out your favourites at Asda for example. Many items where the bigger packs are ‘no longer available’ with a ‘why not try this’ next to it, of a smaller pack.

    Frazzles were 8 for £1
    Now 6 for £1.50

So 24 used to cost £3. Now costs £6.
    100% increase then.

Of all the things I thought they wouldn't shrink the size on, it's butter, Next it will be milk, and you'll no longer be getting "a pint" or "a litre" of milk, just as they've done with all juices. Nothing is 1 litre anymore, it's all 950ml or less. (edited)

Already replaced by 200g sticks in mine, which are of course on a "discount" of £1.99 or something.

i got in just at the right time 50% 250g and 50% 200g on the shelf last night - crazy getting 1/5 less for the same price, but it's happening with everything.

It's £2 on the shelf (discounted), it scans at £2.49, but you automatically get a £1.49 discount at the till as per my description (last checked about 8pm last night).

Surprised they've still got some. Sainsburys sold off theirs in April hotukdeals.com/sha…134.
Not seen any 250g Lurpak or Anchor in any supermarket for a while now.

The 250g will be short dated, as they move over to the 200g.

Take note anchor butter has now been downsized to 200g

Anchor started 'we want to make our price points more accessible for shoppers, which we believe can be achieved, by reducing our pack sizes.'
