    Most of the things I've got have always been in better condition than described, had a few out of probably hundreds that have been worse.

    It's Amazon's warehouse so best to just abandon all guessing that comes from the generic copy paste condition description - your getting a pristine item that maybe some has torn a sticker off the outside box OR your getting just a power cable inside the box with no console or controller xD

    This is exactly my experience of Amazon warehouse and it's definitely worth a roll of the dice since you can just send it back again!

    Assume the 'missing battery' will be for the controller and not the actual xbox...
    Oh well..... Free returns if it's no good!

    Got mine today - its looking unused and like new. Looks like someone just opened it and returned it, or maybe Amazon staff just inspected it.

    Sort of agree, but this does have a 12 month warranty.

    Compared to buying used from ebay or private sales

    Its luck of the draw. YOu could get a literally just-opened box with sealed items, or a battered console returned by a scammer. Just return it if its the latter
