This isn't compatible with the original Xbox One controller, only the ones from 2016 onwards with regular Bluetooth.

Nice little device, I have the brown one and use a ps4 controller for mario kart 👌🏽

If you have a modded switch, there's an app called mission control (I think) that connects bluetooth controllers natively. Can't vouch for it though, but came across it while researching these 8bit adapters. (edited)

Is this compatible with the stadia controller?

Works with the Stadia controller on the latest firmware for me on my M1 Mac (Monterey, which has been a pain to work a lot of games under using anything other than this dongle for me) and Switch. I really like it and will be buying at least one friend one.

    Caveats:
Rumble currently doesn't work for Stadia
It can't wake a Switch from sleep in the way a pro controller can
It inverts ABXY to nintendo layout
You have to enable USB pro controller functionality in the Switch settings (unsure if this impacts anything but it's disabled by default)
The desktop software that allows for tons of controller configurations only seems to support several controllers (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and several 8bitdo ones, I thinkg)

Found these work best if you set them up with a PC first, then move the adapter over to the console. But had the original brown version for years on the Switch and it’s fantastic.

I bought one of these and it's useless. Tried to connect Dualsense, Xbox Swri s X to the Switch and no luck whatsoever.

Really? My Series S controller connects to my Switch without any issues with this adapter. Maybe update the firmware on it or try a YouTube video with instructions. Controller and dongle both have to be in pairing mode, while you are on the controller connect screen on the Switch.

Can I connect 2 controllers to one USB adapter? I have a PS5 controller and 8bitdo Pro 2 controller I want to connect to a windows machine. Or am a better off getting something like this: amzn.eu/d/f…vRl (edited)

    One controller per adapter.

I believe the 8bitdo Pro 2 can connect to 3 bluetooth devices at once though; assuming your windows machine already has bluetooth support I think you're probably best off just setting a profile on that controller for each device separately.

Not sure what the dongle you linked to would be for; unless you don't have bluetooth already on the windows machine

Does the pad having any input lag when using this?

Bought one recently to use with my Series S controller and I don't find any noticeable lag.

Only issue I faced was initial pairing. Am planning to try it out with stadia controller (that's been updated) and see what it's like

Does anyone know if this works with the PS Classic? I know there used to be a specific one, but it doesn't seem available any more....
