From my experience bought twice excellent condition both came dirty dusty and grimy, condition was good “not like new” and even the refurbished is not CLEANED- be prepared for disinfection and elbow grease. The return window is 14 day and I that time frame item not registered as sold on the inventory so you can’t auto generate a return label, have to contact customer service- which has been good and offer you to return. That’s my two pence worth.
Its sold through ebay so returns are easy

Personally, I would rather pay £90 extra for a brand new console.
Plus free games
The machine could have been well used/ill-treated shortening its overall lifespan dramatically.
It could be potentially clogged up with dust internally making it not run as efficient also.
If you're spending all that dosh I'd get a brand new one personally like the last person mentioned before me. (edited)
A lot of these coming out recently! Should we expect a price drop soon? I have a Xbox series S and I am hoping to update. But I am expecting the slim/ pro/ elite models to show up.
Slim then yes potentially by the end of the year. If rumours are correct, Sony will ditch the 2 models currently and offer just the digital edition and release a separate disc drive add-on.
Pro/Elite, whatever you want to call, it is a long shot if you read many gaming websites. In 4 previous generations, only the PS4 had a "Pro" model, and there's plenty of reasons why this was released, in short the uptake in 4K TVs and a generally accepted opinion that the non "Pro" consoles were considered weak and underpowered at launch in 2013.

Cash Converters is honestly a better shout than MusicMagpie when it comes to consoles/phones/tablets etc. at least you can see photos of what you're buying before going ahead with a big purchase. From my buying experience they actually clean their stock before sending it out, and are usually willing to haggle on price if called or emailed directly.
Not by my experience. I had to go through 4 PS4s to get one that worked properly. They may clean them but they don't do thorough testing.

I went to CEX the other day ready to buy one of these because I got a £100 voucher. I ended up leaving with a few more PS4 games. This thing is massive - and an unpopular opinion - ugly! Wouldn't know where to put it around my current home theatre set-up. I hope they slim up the pro version once it does come out!
