Ooh I've just noticed that. Very sneaky
    Just cancelled it

For those who used subscribe & save for the discount, reminder that despite cancelling the order Amazon has not cancelled the subscription, so do remember to go in and cancel that manually.

    Wow, the cheek of them!

I had to double-check, and found yes you are right

Well, thank God for your heads-up. I've just cancelled S&S they left for full price in 6 months, when I might have forgotten all about them

personally just buy the cheap beans from sainsburys or lidl etc,and add your butter or margerine or cheese to your own taste, these to me are way overpriced and overated and taste not much better than the cheap ones you can get,but still there are some that will only by Heinz, sad really
    dealwatcher's avatar
Totally agree with most comments here, my preference is Aldi beans they taste like how Heinz used to be before all watered down.

Heinz is just a name now and not quality. You should also read the nutrients compared to cheaper alternatives. Cheaper alternatives often do better in terms of nutritional value.

    £6.98 for 18 tins with 10% voucher + 15% S&S. Thanks OP

    Same price for me

Taste awful, just about any own brand are better.

PSA: Check all your delivered cans for deep indents!

Out of my 18, 5 had deep dents, 2 of which had indents at the rim, and 3 of which had dents on the seam. Maybe I'm being overly fussy but I'm chucking them out to be safe and asking Amazon for a partial refund.

Heinz screwed themselves when they over inflamed their price. I won't be buying any heinz products, and so should everyone else.

Actually, I found better soups, beans, and tomato sauce from Aldii and other supermarkets. Less than half the price.

Definitely with you on Heinz soups: when I spotted only 3% chicken in their "chicken" soups (97% non-chicken), I switched to delicious Campbells concentrated soups, and add water to my preferred thickness.

Esp' good is the Campbells mushroom soup, full of mushrooms and tasty/thick enough to use as a sauce for chicken or pasta bakes too

Heat added for the brand snobs but Lidl own brand for me now, cheaper and tastier too
    dwl99's avatar
The Lidl ones are £1.85 for 4, these work out at £1.92 for 4 so only pennies cheaper. It wasn't so long ago the Lidl ones were under a quid for 6. (edited)

    15% S+S = under 40p a tin.

I don't mind own brand but most of them are 46-50p a tin at moment, so this is an amazing deal particularly as tins are 415g with the ratio at 50% haricot beans.

Just Essentials and Stockwell are obviously good bit cheaper at 27/28p but beans are tiny and like bullets.
    mmachine's avatar
27p a tin at sainsburys the white tin ones and they do taste ok just add your own as in butter or cheese to taste but they do taste ok as is
  10. ellie27's avatar
I've been buying Sainsbury's 27p beans for the last year, used Lidl before they put them up to 45p a tin!!

Did buy this deal however at £6.98 for 18 tins as sometimes Sainsbury's run out so will keep these at the back of cupboard just in case! Thanks!
  11. outofreach's avatar
36 for £14.51, a few pence more than 2 x 18 but I got the 10%, pleased as they are a staple for me.
Microwave for 2 mins give them a good stir with a rough wooden spoon so that they thicken up, add pepper, another minute in micro, job done.
    chunatunks's avatar
Warm them in a saucepan if you want them to thicken up, the sauce doesn't reduce in a microwave and they come out watery.
  12. preecey's avatar
Just had my first tin of these after finishing off my Lidl Newgate beans and I must say Heinz are so overrated. The last time I had Heinz beans must have been several years ago but they're exactly as I remember them. Watery and bland. And yes, I always shake the tin before opening to give the sauce a bit of a stir.

When I finish these I'm going back to Branston and Lidl/Morrisons own brand. Much nicer taste and thicker sauce.

No idea how you got 10% voucher or how to get 15% S&S. I added 6 to my basket with S&S every 2 months and it’s coming up as £18.35 for me. Works out 50p a can like that. When I add 3 to my basket it’s £8.63, which is 48p a can. Weird
  14. InTheKnow444's avatar
£8:63 delivers S&S, will cancel this after they arrive so 48p a can

Chicken or Vegetable soup also available at same price

There is no guarantee the order will be delivered so I had to order in 3 different accounts but will cancel if I ever get them. I know Royal Mail will say order got damaged in transit like my last 3 S&S orders so I'm not even hopeful on this order. Let's hope it doesn't take 28 days for my refund to come this time
    19DembaBa19's avatar
I have predicted the order will get cancelled so it's nothing new for me but good luck on your refunds because it takes 28 days now
  17. DistortedVision's avatar
I'm getting £8.63 instead of £6.98. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
    fatoosh's avatar
It’s because you would have had subscriptions in place with atleast 5 items coming in to get the higher ss discount. This is why some are getting the reduced price and many are getting the £8.63 price. (edited)
  18. MPD1's avatar
Seems like it's fixed now, 2-for-£10 not 3-for-£10. It says 3 still on the page, but in checkout it says (and charges) at 2-for-£10.

Bad beans tho.... Branston Beans are the best imo.

    But good deal
    BattleBeast1's avatar
Last time I bought Heinz they weren't that nice. I'd still buy Branston if on offer but forgetting price I actually prefer Tesco's own brand 50p or 4 for £1.70 (made by Heinz) or Lidl's Newgate beans.
  24. djp2k8's avatar
One of the worst beans around. Really watery & bland, I guess that's why most Brits like Heinz beans.
    Branston are much much better!

Same here. Pretty poor from Amazon to not honour it imo. Its only a few extra tins of crappy beans not a 65" OLED telly for 25 quid
  26. Erooz's avatar
Mine cancelled too, so I've cancelled 8 subscriptions

    Thank you OP.

    Amazing deal!

We have always had Heinz Baked Beans and the recent price increase has been shocking on these. We haven’t switched to try other brands yet, as sceptical if they’ll be the same/better quality.

But lovely to have recommendations posted on this thread.

These Heinz Beans will keep us all going for another few months. Thank you.

I got exactly the same price and for 18 cans it’s a bargain, even if it goes up later then can cancel it.
  29. BabiDealings's avatar
If these were Branston I’d be all over it, not a fan of Heinz beans. Great price though
    Ayrshireguy's avatar
Deffo, Branstons much better. Heinz are just bland and watery now imo.
