Just spotted this new user offer. I have like 6 of these in every place I want to check the temp. I do have one outside as well for a year now and working great.
Obviously the real deal here is for new members (new email owners ) but the UK price is around £8 so regular price isn't bad either.

Or might want to check out the fork based on that github.com/pvv…ter

There's also a mod to increase battery life for anyone handy at soldering SMT components, requires soldering a ceramic surface mount capacitor to some vacant pads.

Have one. Temperature readings are fine, but humidity levels out of real ones by some 14 digits.

These are great, I have one in every room and linked them to Home Assistant.
Great battery life too - I just changed the battery in one of them and had written on the back when I last changed it - July 2021.

Also these are great cheap BLE devices for sending wireless signals around the home too. e.g I wired one up with a reed switch connected to my front gate. Now whenever the gate opens, it turns on this device which pings Home Assistant where I then trigger an alert on my phone. Why? because I was fed up of delivery drivers giving a light tap on the door ( and not ringing the doorbell!) so I'd miss deliveries.

I already didn't have high expectations, mostly with this being XIAOMI product, but good lord it's bad...

It connected once to my phone and refuses to connect again, temperature is also WELL off, it's about 16c in here. Yet this little thing is recording 26.4c! I'd be absolutely dripping in sweat if it were anywhere near that

I've got 3 Mijia LYWSD03MMC, mine agree within +/- 0.1⁰C of each other and look to be well within the 1⁰C scale divisions of a mercury lab thermometer. Haven't checked the humidity readings though.

One of the alternate firmwares provides an option to adjust the temperature reading, although unfortunately it is just a fixed offset.
