sorted byI'm using it indoors, with metre thick solid stone walls and at the bottom of a National Park valley - and its green signal bars are half full. Our phones don't pick up a single bar.
I was planning to fit an outdoor aerial, but its speeds are good enough as is for what we will use it for. YMMV
I've got another couple of SIMs that I was planning to try - but it took so long getting the first one in.... It's got a "sloping channel", card-wide, leading to the socket. The secret is to ignore that and use a much more steeply angled approach..
SIM card is optional but I just want back up router to switch with my virgin hub (edited)
