About this item
  • Up to 2x more Active Noise Cancellation than the previous-generation AirPods Pro, so you’ll hear dramatically less noise during your commute and when you need to focus.
  • Adaptive Transparency lets you comfortably hear the world around you, all while minimising the intensity of loud noises like sirens or construction in real time.
  • Personalised Spatial Audio surrounds you in sound tuned just for you. It works with dynamic head tracking to immerse you deeper in music and movies.
  • Four pairs of silicone tips are included to fit a wider range of ears, with a new extra small size. The tips create an acoustic seal to help keep out noise and secure AirPods Pro in place.
  • Touch control now lets you swipe the stem to adjust volume. Press the stem to play and pause music or to answer or end a call, or hold it to switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Adaptive Transparency.
  • IPX4 sweat- and water-resistant AirPods Pro and MagSafe Charging Case.
  • A more capable MagSafe Charging Case with Precision Finding, built-in speaker and lanyard loop. Charge with an Apple Watch or MagSafe charger. Or use the Lightning connector or a Qi-certified charger.
  • Up to 6 hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancellation enabled — 33% more than AirPods Pro (1st generation).
  • Up to 30 hours of total listening time with Active Noise Cancellation enabled using the MagSafe Charging Case — 6 more hours than AirPods Pro (1st generation).
  • Always-on “Hey Siri” lets you play music, make calls and get directions simply by using your voice.

Does anyone have any experience as to what these are like compared to the Jabra Elite 75Ts please? Other than double the price

They are in a different class all together. Apple audio quality is better than 99% of the stuff out there. These also work really well with the Apple eco system and will be your new standard for quality.

Many people are buying £30-60 airpods from aliexpress and returning them to amazon after buying originals . I wouldnt buy airpods from amazon , £25 saving ain’t worth the risk .
Many threads have comments regarding fake airpods sent out by amazon

why would amazon send a returned item as NEW?

surely they would have them only for amazon warehouse. (edited)

How are these for work calls via Ms Teams?

If you’re using a Mac then you’re golden, they’ll work wonderfully.

If you’re on a windows PC/laptop, then you’re going to have issues. There are no good drivers for these. Everyone I know ends up connecting to the teams call from their iPhone and using the AirPod Pro via their phone for audio.

i haven’t found a solution for getting them working properly (with clear audio) on windows pc’s.

The owner will have find my for those, if they weren’t dead when you picked them up. What does that sticker say on them? If they feel cheap, they are probably fakes.

Any thoughts on these vs the Sony WF-1000XM?

Not particularly bothered about NC. My phone is Android, if it matters.

Spoke to a few staff at two Apple stores around London and they said they don’t price match Amazon, in case anyone is wondering. They all seemed sceptical that they ever did.

Manchester Arndale staff openly advised me they did - before the thought of them price matching ever even crossed my mind. I ended up going to Manchester Trafford and asked the staff there and they said they will price match - no questions asked, just wanted to see proof of the price Amazon was selling them for. The staff member even gave me their honest opinion when it came to additional AppleCare. They advised it wasn’t worth getting.

I own a pair of these; great NC and audio quality is impressive. The fit isn't the best for me personally, any owners of these out there have any advice to help them fit better?
Someone recommended buying memory foam tips. (edited)

Agreed, the only downside is the fir for me too.

Tried the memory foam tips too and they are marginally better, but not much. I’ve gone back to my original tips now and still hoping to find a better solution. (edited)

Just to add, if you’ve got BLC, they’re on offer for £224.40 with free express delivery from Apple directly via the EPP.

Had to try out the noise cancellation…looks like my bose sound sports are finally being retired (and they’re bloody brilliant!) (edited)

Definitely watch for fakes as some are very bad, but the fakes with the airoha chipset sound pretty much identical to original - the way to tell is noise cancelling is ineffective.

Just had the new ones delivered. I mean the bass is a little better but the transparency is exactly the same as the 1st gen Pros.
