I have the Creami and an ancient Gaggia Gelatiera (a self-freezing churning machine). The Creami makes much much much better sorbets, but thus far Ice Cream has been a bit dense - compared to the Gaggia running recipes from the Ben & Jerry recipe book.
The Ninja-supplied ice cream recipes feature cream cheese…!

Lots of US users use these to make protein-shake ice cream, even though very few of them would get any benefit from protein supplementation.. However they are quite cavalier about chucking in lots of their own ultra-processed additives. Heigh-ho…
I have no idea how robust the thing might be. There are cautions in the manual about damage if the frozen base is too low in sugar or fat. I would be most grateful to be pointed towards a source for what you can (and cannot) put through the machine safely. The original PacoJet is unburstable, but this replica is largely plastic rather than all-metal construction! Some users consider a central hump in the frozen base to need attending to before spinning, and are very particular about the overall level-ness of the container during freezing. I wouldn’t have room for 7 tubs in my freezer…

Thus far, I’d say the Creami is great for sorbets, but merely OK for ice cream. I paid 119 with 3 tubs (and posted the deal). I think it is worth that, even if only for the sorbets. (edited)

I reckon people who are splashing out the cash for this have at least used the cheaper £15-25 ice cream makers and are upgrading. And if they haven't they should

The 3 tub base model is still in stock - add four coloured top tubs
and the whole package, using the code, comes to £155.19.

Carpigiani make the best ice cream makers on the professional market and they also do a smaller one which can be used in the home but they are not cheap! It’s called the freeze and go. (edited)

When you said not cheap. I assumed you meant approx £500 -£600. But £5000+ 😳 (edited)

Had the dispatch email today. So much for the supposed next day delivery including weekends if ordered before 8pm.....not that I'm bothered too much tho today would've been better

Big downside is it's Yodel that have the package..... :/

anyone receive theres, or decent tracking info?

Yesterday the Ninja website (after ordering saturday) said expected delivery monday (even tho supposedly next day delivery), today the Ninja site says expected delivery of yesterday.
I've just put the tracking codes in on the Yodel website, and they're still at the "We're expecting your parcel from your sender. We will provide updates here once we receive it." stage.....

Mine says due 1st July on the Ninja website! Not happy as I'd already ordered ingredients expecting it yesterday or latest today!

Typical - the 4 extra trubs were sent out as seperate boxed item to the Ninja Creami itself, Only 1 item is out for delivery today, though both have arrived at the local depot, checked which from the tracking code and its just the tubs......Surely Yodel plan like reducing trips by you know.....2 packages to same address.....same time....(!)

You'd think so! I contacted Ninja to be told the 7 bundle is out of stock and they don't know when they'll get more 🙃 apparently my order will be fulfilled but they can't tell me when!
