Thanks for posting. I love Skechers and have bought many pairs over the years. However in my opinion the sale prices are still too high and even with the discount the prices aren't great. :/

We've got a few pairs between us, so comfy and smart at first, but they really don't last very long before they start to get tatty or even break apart after 18m of minimal use (ie, well before they actually have a chance to wear out).

I've had a couple of pairs and both only lasted around 6 months before the spongy inner lining started to wear out and I was down to the hard base of the sole. Yes, they are comfy to start with but aren't made very well.

I won't be buying any more. (edited)

All about the name isn't it? It's pretty brilliant marketing as these trainers
are made with very cheap materials (I mean, not a hint of actual leather in any of them)

I have a pair of Skecher a likes from Temu. Cost £5.75 (Mrs B got the women's version for £4.14!) Had them about 6 weeks, walked many a mile in them (sans socks) and no signs of wear. But if they last 6 months like some of these Skechers do it won't be the end of the world.

Similar kind of stuff (technology) has been in for over couple of years now and so I think, though the brand has its glorious past, the competing trainers and walking shoes manufacturing market now has quite flourished and flooded with choices in much cheaper prices than the brand itself. Sketchers are great! Started buying them over 30 years ago in America. Yesrs before they appeared in the UK.

Has anybody bought a pair of those new ones yet, the ones advertised on tv with the easy to get on heel? Do they look and feel well made? I know these would be full price as they are so new but I’d like to know what folks think of them. I’m willing to wait till they do come down in price in the future . Ta muchly.

Not sure what's the sale? Over priced sales not attractive for me
