There is arguably no better way to appreciate the mythical natural wonders of Norway than by gliding along crystal-clear waters immersed in the stunning landscapes. The magical voyage will take you to North Cape, where you can experience daylight last for what feels likes forever. From crashing waterfalls to lush green valleys, the rich Viking history and beauty interweaved into these lands will truly take your breath away.

CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS
Honningsvag for North Cape, Norway
North Cape is a world apart - a place where the sun doesn't set for 75 days. Savouring your evening on the shores of the Arctic Ocean, you’ll experience some of the world’s cleanest air and enjoy a sense of tranquillity that will stay with you forever.

Kristiansund, Norway
Located across four islands, the city of Kristiansund is one of the most surreal – and visually spectacular – places on earth. Criss-crossing the waters by ferry, you can take in everything it has to offer, including the famous delicacy of split and salted cod.

Tromso, Norway
Lying almost 220 miles north of the Arctic Circle, this enchanting city is Norway’s gateway to the Arctic. Notoriously lively, it’s one of the better places to catch the mesmerising Northern Lights.

We're on here at the moment in Norway. You couldn't get a friendlier ship. The staff bend over backwards to make your holiday.

Don't knock it if you haven't tried it, rumours spouting rubbish can ruin companies. (edited)

Bet that doesn't happen on all cruise lines😁

One thing that puts me off is 8 days out of 17 days spent at sea.

What you expect, you would be on a boat, travelling across the sea by a boat, to get to your various destinations .
Bit like saying, I like going abroad but not sure about having to spend 6hrs on a plane to get there.

You should give warship: life at sea series 3 a watch before booking this. channel5.com/war…n-3

Russian submarines like to hide under cruise ships around norway and the artic to mask their sounds.

    A cracking deal indeed.

Does anyone have a destination experience programme for this Cruise they can upload?
Also is there any local free parking around the Tilbury port?

Thanks OP booked for my old folks.
It seems insurance is mandatory, does anyone know of a good value travel insurance. Seems overy expensive at a £100 each at their recommend insurance

How much would drinks be for this trip ??? maybe included ??
    Rmcstar's avatar

Think the drinks packages were +£500pp. IIRC the on-board prices are similar to pubs

It's adult only on these dates. Ambassador in general are an "adult" cruise company other than in school hols

Feel sorry for the suckers buying the outside cabin option! Bit too wet and cold for my liking. (edited)
    guest5234's avatar
Not really, very hot and sunny up there (edited)

Is it worth paying for outside cabin? I am thinking of booking for parents who have never been on cruise.

I'd say no, you'd hardly spend time in the cabin imo. But if they want to look at seaviews the £100 isn't too costly

    Nope. Fine in your mankini.

    Sounds like a wonderful cruise...
Just been looking at TrainPal for prices to get us to Tilbury. Surprisingly affordable at £130-200 for the 2 of us, return, 4 hours.
    Maybe one day...
