I've seen Diablo 2 Resurrected drop a lot on the battle.net store but this is the first time I've seen Warcraft 3 Reforged discounted. Not the most exciting re-release as many hated the new changes they made but at least it's finally at a price that you might feel less burned. I'm curious enough to take a punt at this price anyway.

    I got this, a big disappointment though. Not saying it's bad because it has a lot of positives. I just felt lied to as they said they do a lot of things and they didn't. It's kinda infamous now. Even had some of the people who worked on it talk about how they were rushed and had funding cut and then were forced to release what they had.

    They had a tournament for it and it crashed so much they had to use the original game to finish the tournament

    It did feel like it just got shoved out, yeah. I had it pre-ordered and then I cancelled it just as it came out after hearing the initial impressions weren't good. It doesn't really make much sense either that it was released in the state it did, it kind of just devalued the Warcraft brand really, and they lost out on a lot of sales from the WoW crowd I'm sure.

    As for the tournament I did not hear about that, lmao. Not surprised though. I'm only grabbing it to see how the campaign holds up really.

    Yeah I hadn't seen this discounted either, good post. I believe it's been patched quite a bit, as was so poor on initial release. (edited)

    As far as I understand the single player is stable enough now with only very minor ui bugs. The multiplayer still has some issues but I think it's not enough to detract from the experience anymore. It seems like it's still getting updates either way as the latest patch was back at the start of May - news.blizzard.com/en-…ive

    Finally on sale. Did not want to pat £25 for this game as it is reported to buggy, but for £12.49 its worth the punt to replay this classic game

    There seems to be a few people posting on the Blizzard forum that they’ve bought this but it still shows ‘buy now’ and doesn’t show any option to download.
    This also happened to me (I noticed others had issues after buying it, lol), Blizzard support was useless so I refunded.
