Can anyone please recommend a good sharpener for this knife? I bought one a couple of years ago and it’s now quite blunt. Thank you

Buy a water stone, there are cheap options like king stone or ice bears. Aim for about 1000 grit, and you’ll want something to flatten it - either a flattening stone or a cheap diamond stone (or a paving slab!).

Watch some videos on how to freehand sharpen. Not that hard to learn, much better results than pull-through sharpeners. (edited)

As long as they don't put it through the dishwasher. In that case, it'll last a few years before the glue dies and the handle comes away.

Victorinox are one of the few brands that claim to be used by 'professional chefs' that actually are used by 'professional chefs'.

They aren't fancy or particularly sexy looking, but they are decent quality, long lasting and good value.

Every chef I ever worked with always had a few Victorinox knives in their kit.

True words the tomato knife is pretty much in everyone's kit

I've had one of these for years. It's one of the best value knives in my collection (and I have many). I cannot recommend this highly enough to pretty much anyone.

About this really. I paid £27 but I doubt you could find a better knife for the money.

This handle, or the classic for an average size hand?

I have this knife paid £27 in 2019. It's good for me but I know nothing about knives.

What knifes are best for people like me who have no real interest in cooking, so don’t really want to spend a great amount.
