Once sold the 3rd party sends their phone to Mozillon > Mozillion does it’s checks on the phone to see it’s meets requirements/not stolen etc > Once passed they charge and send the phone to the buyer.
The “awaiting the device” status would actually be them awaiting to receive the device from the seller so they can perform the checks and the send it on.
Don’t expect to receive it for a few days at least (they state the whole process should take 3-5 days)

Just had an battery issue with a Pixel 5 and they cannot source another so sending out a Pixel 6a as a replacement at no extra cost
That's for brand new phones not a refurb.
assholes
EDIT: After looking around eBay/Marketplace etc this was by far the best price and paid via klarna for £66.66 per month for 3 months.
24 month warranty is brilliant too thanks buddy been looking for a new phone for awhile now...almost switched to iPhone 13 mini but glad to stay with Pixel 😁 THANK YOU! (edited)
Yeah was surprised also never heard of Mozillion, I think its 3rd party so could be anyone owners, companies, retailers it almost feels like an ebay system accept they make offers and see if anyone wants to sell up or want the money.
Maybe people really hate ebay or their fees or had issues with sold items or it going wrong in the past so Mozillion was born to take all the stress out of it, if they give 2 years warranty and have the support/repairs
covered then im in.
Mozillion support was fast and suggested still have 30 day return window and already emailed me a free returns royal mail slip.
They did mention they will contact the supplier in case there are replacement units available so am waiting, but I have to be honest it really does not feel like that commercial supplier or even Mozillion are doing very good checks on these phones.
I would urge anyone else to check their mozillion sold phones properly especially if it makes and receives a phone call properly.
