Did anyone who ordered yesterday with the standard free Royal Mail shipping get a dispatch email or update in their orders on the site to show a tracking link? See: mozillion.com/myO…der

Purchased a 6a yesterday and no movement yet.

As far as I can tell Mozillion acts as a marketplace for 3rd party sellers, then act as a middleman in the purchase chain.

Once sold the 3rd party sends their phone to Mozillon > Mozillion does it’s checks on the phone to see it’s meets requirements/not stolen etc > Once passed they charge and send the phone to the buyer.

The “awaiting the device” status would actually be them awaiting to receive the device from the seller so they can perform the checks and the send it on.

Don’t expect to receive it for a few days at least (they state the whole process should take 3-5 days)

Just an update, Mozillion did email me just now saying one of my G7a units is confirmed to be all good and free 24 month warranty included and already dispatched with Royal mail with tracking number. (edited)

Anyone got any experience with this seller?
    FluffyMatt's avatar
    Yep phones arrive as described.

Just had an battery issue with a Pixel 5 and they cannot source another so sending out a Pixel 6a as a replacement at no extra cost

Think the iPhone deals are worth it?
    Waka69's avatar
128gb is quite low you want at least 256gb if you save a lot of stuff. If you're after an iPhone and isn't urgent I'd wait until the 15 is out for better deals

A brand new unlocked Pixel 7a is only £370 from Three, I bought one to replace my 6 Pro when it was water damaged. And a Pixel 6a is only £262.

That's for brand new phones not a refurb.

I'm confused. website says £20 off now, not 20%.

    assholes
    morgie's avatar
Err, it was always a £20 voucher code. See OP.

Same as others, seems my 6a got dispatched today.

Is it worth me getting the 6a? Unfortunately the 7a is unavailable now currently on the pixel 4a 😬

EDIT: After looking around eBay/Marketplace etc this was by far the best price and paid via klarna for £66.66 per month for 3 months.

24 month warranty is brilliant too thanks buddy been looking for a new phone for awhile now...almost switched to iPhone 13 mini but glad to stay with Pixel 😁 THANK YOU! (edited)

Not sure how mozillion works, but it looks like some phones (7a) you have to make an offer? There are no "Buy now" options for that phone - does that mean that they have run out?

Yeah, must be oos on that one.

Who do these guys ship with?
    morgie's avatar
See my comment a couple above, Royal Mail. I think that was the only company, just different services available.
  21. catavento's avatar
Anybody know where the Mozillion 'excellent' stock comes from? Are they partnered with retailers and buy returned units from them, for example? Or are they owned by one? Clearly a legit seller but they seem to have a lot of stock for a name that's pretty new!
    emptypocketz's avatar
Laggy checked the TnC on there site, his post is above or here

Yeah was surprised also never heard of Mozillion, I think its 3rd party so could be anyone owners, companies, retailers it almost feels like an ebay system accept they make offers and see if anyone wants to sell up or want the money.

Maybe people really hate ebay or their fees or had issues with sold items or it going wrong in the past so Mozillion was born to take all the stress out of it, if they give 2 years warranty and have the support/repairs
    covered then im in.
  22. emptypocketz's avatar
thanks MrSwitch ordered G7a, first phone in like 6 years surely a record on HotUKDeals

Mozillion (24 month warranty) or Giffgaff (12 month warranty) for an "excellent" refurb? Or not much to pick between them other than warranty?
    emptypocketz's avatar
24 month swung it for me with Mozillion, also giff gaff did the 7a for £399 while Mozillion £300 with the £20 off.
  24. shammy84's avatar
when I saw pro max iPhone for 800, I assumed it was 20% as they are usually 1000. fair enough
  25. billy653's avatar
What was the battery health of iPhone 13 mini?
    morgie's avatar
They detail all of their grades on their website. For 'Excellent'...

    • Excellent: Minimal cosmetic marks. Fully tested and functional. Original manufacturer parts. Minimum 85% battery health. 24-months’ warranty, free

Update, yeah both my 7as are faulty with a hiss noise when making and receiving calls. Phone repairer on Google forums mention since its refurb they were not done properly.

Mozillion support was fast and suggested still have 30 day return window and already emailed me a free returns royal mail slip.

They did mention they will contact the supplier in case there are replacement units available so am waiting, but I have to be honest it really does not feel like that commercial supplier or even Mozillion are doing very good checks on these phones.

I would urge anyone else to check their mozillion sold phones properly especially if it makes and receives a phone call properly.
    morgie's avatar
Thanks. Would it happen on calls using apps like WhatsApp, Google Meet etc or just via voice calls via the SIM? I will get the one I have checked but don't have a physical SIM to try currently.
