    It’s oos but they come back pretty frequently.

    Got this one and a passport. Both showed in their smart info they only had a couple hours of on time and a handful of power cycles.

    Been running for months 24/7 attached to a NAS without issues.

    In my experience this is the cheapest way to get reliable backup storage.

    hey.. How do we use these 2.5" spinning discs to a NAS.
    Can you use them via the USB cable or do you need to remove them from the plastic case and add them to the NAS.
    new to this, so inputs would be helpful to setup my backup plan.

    What! you could do that? I have lenovo tiny pc somewhere. I could put window 10/11 on it if it helps. could I set it up to work as a NAS.
    happy to buy a couple of large 3.5" spinning drives if that helps.

    Do I need openmedia vault installed on it is it?
