Various sizes and colours available. Only size 6 left in black for men's but other colours have popular sizes left still. Looks like they're selling off the last of the stock with the new V2's out recently. Bought a pair earlier this year and it did have a quality issue after a few months, but in fairness to inov-8 they replaced them no issues and the second pair are holding up much better.

I love inov8 boots and trainers but I have found they wear very fast both on the sole and the upper on every pair of 345’s I’ve ever had splits where my toes bend and the same has happened on my girlfriends (though she has had one pair to my 4!) I buy them because for 60% of hikes they’re the comfiest boots possible but don’t expect them to last like your leather Meindl’s!

Also if this is your first pair of 345’s just know that the GTX inner come’s upto but does not include the tongue section under your laces so again, don’t expect them to be as waterproof as a pair of Vakuum’s.

These are great boots if you know their limitations and use them in rotation with other boots for different terrain/weather.

I'm normally an 8, would those on the know recommend going a full or half size up? Just they've got the nicer looking G400 in an 8.5!

I'm usually a 12 and a 12 was perfect in these for me.

I bought these a few months ago as well when someone posted a deal and they have been great. Best hiking boots I've ever had, though truth be told I haven't owned many.

Quick question then. What’s the arch support like in these. Are they just a totally flat surface inside or is it raised surface to support the arch of the foot? Thanks

I also have these inov8 boots and they're really good. I'm too lazy these days to clomp around with clodhoppers and these are light and keep the water out a treat. I paid £75 for mine already on offer so this is a bargain. (edited)

Received mine today, not the best to be fair. Both boots have what I would call a loose inner skin at the toe end, which means that when you put them on, you can feel it pressing against your foot.

Also, for me anyway, hiking boots should afford some level of protection, these offer pretty much the same as a pair of trainers. The material is soft, even the plastic toe cap is.

I'm returning them, which you have to pay postage for might I add! (edited)

i've got 4 pairs of merrell chameleons - they all failed the same way - abrasion of the upper material around the laces - so annoying! How can the upper go before the soles!?!

What is the different between men's and women's shoes? Would this be okay for a woman still?

You'll just need to size down (check out their size guide) and might a be wider fit than woman's version.

Didn't need any new boots, but can't resist a good deal! Shame the pro 400 boots weren't available, but still, this seems like a decent enough price. Went a size up, see how they compare to my Salomon and Merrell boots.

If these are lightweight and can be used for running, would you wear a trainer sock or a thicker boot sock with them? I'm used to big heavy boots that I'd wear thick socks in which makes me go up atleast half a size, so now I'm stuck as to whether I should size up or not.

Might be a silly question, but what's the difference between this and something like the mountain warehouse extreme/karrimor range etc?

Just trying to see if these are better value compared to current boots etc etc.

There is no comparison between cheap shoes and 200 quid gore tex ones really...

I paid for lets say "premium" Jack Wolfskin jacket and shoes with their texapore (20000mm) membrane and it was just bad. Now I only buy original gore tex products

Great boots but there does seem to be a quality control issue - the lace hooks come unglued.

Had this happen twice - replaced both times with no trouble, second time with the new V2 version...

Ive had these for a few years now and by miles the best boots I have owned. So much so the better half invested in the women's equivalent and also preaches about them

Would replace them in a heartbeat if they ever fail me.
