How would these compare to the Bose QC45?

Bose is MUCH more comfortable for long term use..Sony gets warm..and just doesnt feel as comfy.
noice cancellation of both is excellent..
sound quality is subjective..Bose more natural and balanced,Sony more bass heavy and "exciting" sound..

Great headphones, but sorry its a cold from me - no way these should still be above £200!!

They still outmatch nearly every other pair on the market so I don’t see why not

Still prefer these over the newer XM5 due to the foldable nature of them, sound quality and ANC is very similar from the little I’ve tried of the XM5 though I’m sure others can weigh in on that if they own the newer ones.

that's the same reason why i never upgraded, that and they just look cheap

I'm pretty sure these will drop below £200 during Prime day sale

£199 last week in BT Shop deal. I would wait for a sub £200 price.

Terrible headphones if sound quality is your priority, get their cousins the MDR-1AM2

Those are wired with no anc and are out of stock most places online. Not really a viable alternative.

I replaced those with mx5 and honestly can't tell much difference in sound quality.

    Pros
    Mx5 design is newer

    Cons
Mx5 are Not foldable (Not a deal-breaker for me)
Mx5 are "inside out" while resting on your neck. Very strange design.

Good headphones but I wouldn't bite if not under£ 200 personally.

Xm5 is MUCH better for making phone calls in a noisy environment. If you won't use them for that I wouldn't bother. (edited)

My XM3s have started to play up. Sometimes won't turn on until I give the ear cup a good bit of tapping. Hopefully these drop a bit more during prime day.

if sound quality is your main priority try Sennheiser Momentum 3..easily puts these and any other wirerless headphones to shame (I have owned/tried almost every well reviewed headphones).

if comfort for long term use is your priority and you prefer more neuteral, balanced sound (not bass heavy) try Bose QC 35 / 45 (edited)
