    Looking for a decent.. but, budget friendly family tent for light, summer camping. Likely to use it once a year over a weekend. Any experienced campers got any views on this one? Any advice appreciated!

    Had been looking at picking up a Berghaus 4.1xl or the newer 400xl... But, unsure I really need the convenience of air beams (or the pack size of them!) and blackout rooms for the difference in price.. and the amount I'll be using it.

    We bought the 4.1xl tent when it was £599 everywhere. We're really pleased with it, loads of room and easy to put up and down. That said for 1 weekend a year it's possibly a bit overkill. Also depends on the weather, last thing you want is to spend a weekend on a site in the rain sat in a smaller tent so pick a site with wet weather options onsite or nearby.
