Spinning salad? personally I prefer my meat spun and my salad tossed, think its a visceral thing, like textures in the mouth.

The spinner is quite big and bulky, could be an issue to store it if you have a small kitchen

There is a cheaper plastic alternative around 17£, same brand. Looks like a useful gadget, just went for the glass one as looks like it can be used as a serving bowl as well. Oh well will see when it arrives lol

This is a great salad spinner, but wow, it's gone up in price since when I purchased. Oh hold up, this one is glass. Mine is perspex/plastic. It really is a good design spinner. (edited)

It's for drying salad after washing, more often than not it retains a lot of water and takes time to dry (especially if cut in smaller pieces)
